9-1-1 Buck's Sister

Argh. So much pain and of course I had to go into early labour during and earthquake. I scramble and get my phone. Okay think, logically, as logically as you can doing contractions and labour. Okay a really bad earthquake hit so emergency services are going to be spread thin. As secure as can be under a arch and under a table. Don't bother asking how it happened I'm just grateful it did

"911 what's your emergency?"

"You need to patch me through to Trainee Maddie, no questions just do it right now. Please." I breath the lie cuts the opens again

"911 Operater Maddie speaking."

"Maddie, it's Alex. Listen to me. I know every emergency service is spread thin but I'm going into labour. It's progressed  over the last hour." I tell my sister

"okay, okay. It will be over a hour..."

"I get it okay, which is why you are gonna walk me through this, you know what to do so buckle up and help me bring your niece or nephew into the world." I screamed as another contraction hit.

"Do you know how dilate you are, give me specifics." I could hear she was sacred for once.

"I'm nearly full, and you know I'm prepared, so you send that EMT and we'll take it from here. Oh and warn them it won't be a pretty sight." I chuckle half heartedly "Mads you heard of talk anaesthesia right?" I do my deep breathing

"Yeah, you talk them through the pain usually when they have pain relief though."

"Well I ain't got that so your gonna have to do. And I think I'm ready, so you talk to me okay, you don't stop."

"I promise. I promise. Push when your ready " she breathed and I did "I was in the middle of training when the earthquake hit. I watched TV, Ev's at a hotel and it looks like a knock off version of the leaning tower of Pisa." I let out a groan

"Have you heard from him?" I ask

"No, no service, any calls are coming to us only. How are you doing?" she wondered

"Oh I'm under two safest places to be during an earthquake and after shocks, pushing a honeydew melon out of my vagina so it can live on a recording forever. How about youuuuuuu"

"You're doing great Alex, i'm right here, right here with you and I'm not going anywhere. Names tell me about names. You got any?"

"Oh, if it tell you, you'll snitch on me to the egomaniac cause I'm actually considering Evanna." I heard a laugh "Shu oh my god here they come here they come. Oh my god" I pull out my baby and and bring them close to my chest I look down.

"It's a boy, it's a boy." I laugh "It's a boy."  as my little boy cries

"Congratulations. Alex, a eat just freed up, they're on the way." I started to feel faint

"Mads. Mads there's something wrong I don't...feel...g"

-3rd Person-

"Alex!" Maddie called over, she took a deep breath, she couldn't lose it. "EMTs please be advised patient is no longer  responding. I repeat no longer responding." she stated

"Alex I don't know if you can hear me but I promise I would keep talking and I will, help is on the way, you and your little boy are gonna be fine. Once we have service. We're gonna be there okay we will" Maddie promised

"Emts coming in!" there was a bang and the EMTs entered

"Hello, please pick up." one of them did "Listen to that's my sister you get her and the baby safe okay."

"You got it." the call ended. Once the day was done Maddie told Buck happened and they made their way to the hospital she was in. Alex was sat up holding her baby boy when her sibling entered.

"Hey." she beamed at them "Would you like to meet your nephew." she held up up so they could see him properly and both took a side.

"He's amazing sis." Buck laughed

"He's beautiful. How are you feeling? I thought i lost you back there. What happened?" Maddie questioned

"It's nothing. I'm fine, we're fine and he's perfect. I even have a name." Alex replied

"Is it Evan, cause I'm just saying it's a really good name" Buck suggested making Maddie and Alex laugh

"No, though if she were a girl maybe. No he's called Jack, Jack Buckley." you announced

"Well, hey Jack."
