Doctor's Daughter Part 2

Lena's hair flicked slightly in the breeze, across her face. She had one hand  holding Santiago's hand the other holding her growing stomach. It had been a year since the wedding and in that time Harry and Meghan had gotten married. They Royals and the Jones' were all now at the Royal ascot. Since finding out she was pregnant  she had asked Santiago that the two stay in England for a while, to which Santiago agreed growing up all over the world he was only to happy to settle down some roots with his wife.

"Lena, Santiago." The two turned round from their conversation to see William and Kate. They excused themselves.

"Your Highness'" They made their respective gestures.

"it's so good to see you, congratulations." William smiled at the two.

"Thank you, sir." Santiago, slipped his arm round his wife's waist 

"How far along are you?" Kate asked

"5 months." Lena grinned rubbing her stomach slightly as the tight wrap dress clung to her rowing stomach.

"We're so happy for the both of you?" William hugged her and shook Santiago's hand. Katherine hugged the both of them. The four of them talked for a while before then going to talk with other people. Lena saw Harry and Meghan taking and smiling but then Harry's face drop slightly, she followed his line of vision then operated herself from her husband.

"Your Highness'." she bowed her head catching Harry's attention, he looked back to where he was looking then back to her.

"I think we should talk, don't you?" Lena offered and Harry nodding walking to the royal box looking down at everyone.

"You saw her didn't you." Lena commented and Harry looked confused. She sighed and scanned the crowed till she found out who she was looking for and she pointed

"The girl in the crazy pink dress is me. You're eyes are not fooling you. She is the 20 year old me."

"How is that possible?"

"Time is just confusing, you can never really explaining it fully without getting a headache. Me down there is the girl that still dating you, right now she is talking to people and figuring out what is going on, in about...." she looked down at her watch

"I say about 20 minutes she will get the answer she never wanted. You see my Dad was suppose to be taking me to the sea horse races in the Caribbean Ocean but as usual we got diverted I had no clue what was going on and over the course of a small time I figured that my Dad is an idiot again, I'm at the wrong races and that you're kissing a girl that isn't me.

It broke my heart, you looked older which meant that sometime in my future, we were not together, I go back to the Tardis and I find out that you marrying Meghan is a fixed point, you and me can't be together." Lena started tearing up.

"I tried to figure away around it but I'm a time lady, One of  the last of my kind and I have to uphold our law, this is something that needs to happen. and It sucked because I finally got the courage to do something I didn't want to, then you proposed."

"This is what you meant by I would understand later." Lena nodded at him

"I took a program for today so that I knew I had to be hear, near you and then explain fully after the fact. Harry, I love you and I always will but you're meant to be with Meghan, what comes from your marriage is a stepping stone and a big leap for your family, it has and will accomplish many things. I'm just sorry that it took both our hearts breaking to get there."

"Lena." he breathed

"I just thought you should know, I know it's been a long time coming but now you know." She turned round and left the young Prince to think. She rejoined Santiago and the others, she already talked to her husband about the significance of today. He kissed her temple and slipped his arm around her waist.
