"Am I beautiful?" you ask Alison and Lydia as you stare at yourself in the mirror.
"Of course you are. Why would you even need to ask?" Alison replies looking a dresses. Lydia's party was coming up.
"Never mind." you shake your head turning from the mirror to look at dresses on your best friends bed.
"Ooh this one's pretty" Alison smiled looking at a navy blue one.
"Then it's yours." Lydia told her "What about you y/n" you looked at the dresses inspecting them but nothing caught your eye. You shook your head and pulled out your phone texting Stefan.

You were walking through town, going to meet your friends when you stopped and reversed seeing something. It was a dress, not just a dress but the most prettiest dress you had ever seen. You walked into the shop and tried it on, it looked amazing but the best thing of all it made you feel amazing. You then looked at the price tag, the amazing dress had a amazingly high price but then you thought about it. Your parents made enough that this hardly made a dent, and they alway were wondering why you didn't dress like most girls. You took it off and bought it.

It was Lydia's birthday party and you and Stefan had made a deal that sen as you weren't going with anyone, you would go with each other. you finished doing your make up when the doorbell rang. Grabbing your coat you went to answer the door.
"perfect timing." you say.
"You look amazing."
"i'm wearing a coat?" you reply he shrugs.
"So?"
"You haven't even seen the dress." you roll your eyes closing the door behind you.
"Don't need to, you'll look amazing." he opened the car door for you and you slid in. he got in as well and took you to the party.
Lydia answered and saw it was the two of you and welcomed you in. You undid your coat and looked behind you. Stefan was stood waiting for your coat and Lydia was offering you drinks. You slipped the coat off and there was a gasp.

"What" they were staring at you. You looked down at the dress. "Is it too much?" you felt self conscious.
"No, you look hot. Hotter than me, how is that possible." Lydia said and you blushed
"Wow." Stefan commented
"I should properly put the coat back on." you went to take it from Stefan but it was snatched away by your best friend.
"No, you are not hiding that dress. Now go out there with your date and have fun." she ordered. You and Stefan looked at each other, he removed his jacket and offered his arm. You smiled taking it and walking further into the party. A really good song started to play.
