Your POV

You jumped down off the helicopter with Fingers and ran towards the entrance of the camp, the two of you had been on R&R and now just returned. once the gates were sealed behind you separating you from the land of work and the land of well the lads they all jumped on the two of you, shouting in your ear.

"Alright you wankers get off me." you laughed shrugging them off

"Welcome back y/n" Molly came to give you a hug as she stood with Captain James. You hugged her back.

"Thanks." you pulled away and looked at the boss moving away from the idiots you called family.

"have it, I got most of your stuff you owe a shit ton of money by the way." smurf went to open you bag and started cheering at the chocolate he asked you to get for him.

"Missed me boss?" you smirk

"Been the hardest two weeks of my life, y/l/n"  they others awed and laughed teasing him.

"It's not nice to tease bossman, you won't get your present if you are being a tease." he folded his arms.

"what could you possibly have gotten little old me." you liked back to the boys who were watching your exchange

"at least he got the old right."

"oh burn" the chimed as you looked back.

"Ah I don't know if you deserve it boss." you grabbed your rucksacks and walked away.

"Excuse me y/l/n I need to have a word with you before i get back." As usual others thought you were in trouble as you were taken to his cabin. He shut the door behind you and you dropped your stuff.

"Just as I left it." you comment smiling.

"It's only been two weeks y/n" you turned round to face him.

"yeah I've been gone for three months back home, the places was a wreck and there is only two of them living there. Besides most of you blokes live for the messiness."

"What's that supposed to mean." You shrugged and put a hand on your hip.

"I honestly have missed you y/n." he came over and took your cheek in his hand and leant in to kiss you. You kissed him back eagerly and held his waist. So the two of you wouldn't go any further, you pulled away.

"Two weeks with out that, is just not worth leaving."

"Did you have a good time back home?" you nodded

"Yeah fingers got bored though so he ditched his within a week. I can never seem to settle properly back home, i've gotten used to everything here. Mainly the snoring." he laughed, stepping away you went rummaging through your bag and pulled out a long rectangle box.

"No one can ever say I don't know how to look after my Captain." you handed it to him and he grinned

"Rosabaya" he looked up at you.

"Thank you." he gave you another kiss which then lead into a hug. You really had missed being so close to him.

"Well i better get back, money to collect and all that." you say

"yeah I'll pay you back."

"Not you, those morons I share a tent with." you both laughed and you gave him a final kiss before opening the door and leaving.
