Natalie sat in the restaurant and waited. She waited and waited. He was late, she looked down at her phone, 1 hour an 30 minutes late, she tried calling him again.
"Hello, this is Steve McGarrett..." she huffed and ended the call. She paid for her drink and left. She headed back home and he wasn't there, she changed for bed then grabbed her laptop and did some work. Steve came in talking on the phone, he smiled at her but she just looked at him then turned back to her laptop.
"Okay, bye." he hung up.
"Hey babe." he went to kiss her but she dodged him.
"What's the matter." she stood up and went to get more wine, Steve followed her confused she poured the rest of the bottle into her glass and turned to look at him.
"Dinner was amazing by the way." she commented and a look of realisation crossed his face.
"Nat I'm so sorry, A job came through and I totally..."
"Forgot, So nice to know I mean that much you can't even send me a text, this is the third time this week you've stood me up, it's getting boring."
"What do you want me to do? Not do my Job?" he asked raising his voice and she was pissed, she threw her wine over him.
"I want you to be my partner, to say babe, I can't make it rain check? Not leave me sitting alone in a restaurant looking like a idiot!" she yelled. Nat went to grab a beer and then her laptop. She jogged upstairs and went to the spare room slamming the door, then shoving the chair behind it so he couldn't enter. If she was going to have an argument she would do it sober and not say stuff that was the darkest part of her opened up by the alcohol .

The next day Natalie walked into the offices. Steve had texted her wanting to have a work lunch, most likely so they could talk.
"Nat, hey." Thani greeted, Nat smiled at her and glanced at Steve who was talking with Danny.
"Hey. How's the case?" Nat wondered taking a brief look at the screens that showed various information to what the case was about.
"This one is a tough one but, we'll deal. I heard about what happened..." Than was cut off by Natalie's phone dinging, singling a message.
"Sorry." Natalie apologised and glanced down at it.
'Olympus'
"Oh shoot, there's an emergency at work." She looked back up "Honestly can't leave them alone for an hour. Could you tell him?"
"Sure of course." Natalie gave a smile and walked out. That text was no ordinary text, it was a warning. A warning that she had been compromised and was in danger. That text meant she wouldn't get to resolve her fight with Steve, that fight would be the last memory they would have. She walked calmly out of the palace and to her car she dismantled her phone and ditched it town a drain. She slid into her car and drove back to the house, parked up and went inside. Leaving her keys on the coffee table she jogged upstairs and opened her jewellery box and she searched for the little ribbon to pull up the falls bottom, there sat a small key. Taking it she closed the box, to anyone else nothing had been disturbed.
Natalie didn't take the car instead she grabbed a plain black baseball cap and walked away. First rule of running don't run, walk. She got on the first bus paying cash of course that would take her to the heart of Oh'au. Then another bus to the zoo. Upon arrival she made a bee line for the lockers and opened locker 17. In there was her burner ID's, cash and a sat phone and a set of key's She left the zoo and headed to a motel. She checked in and dumped her stuff. Brought out the sat phone, calling in.
