His Seduction

Chapter 13.

He released a tiny yawn as he dragged himself back to his bedroom. The movie had ended a few minutes ago and after making sure his mother got to bed okay he proceeded to do the same.

The first thing he did was to unplug the drain, then he rinsed the small item. Afterwards he brushed his teeth and went to bed.

For a while he just gazed at the pacifier, feeling slightly weird and unsure but as an image of the headlines flashed in his mind he took a deep breath and placed the transparent rubber between his lips, guiding it past his teeth and into his awaiting mouth.

Almost like it was second nature he began sucking on the teat and a feeling of comfort and relaxation washed over him. The act was calming and he found his eyelids hetting heavier by the second.

Pulling Bitsy into his chest, he closed his eyes and fell into a blissful sleep.

The ringing of his phone pulled him from the depths of his slumber, with closed eyes he searched for the device and answered.

"Mmfh"
His words were muffled and he finally registered the object in his mouth.

"Hey bub"
Riley's cheeks took on a pink hue and he quickly spat the paci unto his pillow somehow feeling like Nikolai could see him.

"H-hi"

"I'm sorry I didn't call yesterday, I was stuck in meetings"

"I-it's okay"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, it's fine"

"Good, how was your day?"

"It was nice, I spent the afternoon doing research and spent the night with my family"

"Oh, what did you find out?"

"U-umm, w-n-nothing"

"Hey it's okay if you don't want to say" He assured the younger.

"It's not that I don't want to, it's that I can't"

"Why not, is someone bothering you again?"

That bone chilling aura seeped through the phone and got under Riley's skin, almost paralyzing him.

"No they aren't, I'm fine"

"If anyone so much as breathes at you the wrong way. Tell me"

"Yes sir"

"Good"

"H-have you seen the papers?"

"Yes, I have"

"I-I'm sorry"

"Don't worry about it I took a risk bringing you out like that. I'll deal with it, besides I don't care if they know"

"But, I mean they totally twisted the story. We aren't-"

"Aren't we?"

The air trying to get to his lungs had taken a sharp turn and the very thing that kept him alive was now trying to kill him.

Riley coughed voilently in short bursts as he tried to regulate his respiratory functions.

"Hey, hey try to relax the muscles, put the phone down and focus on relaxing the miscles"

It took him a minute to finally get his coughing under control, by this time Nikolai was really concerned.

"I'm okay now"

"Thank God"

"W-what are we?"

"For now, let's just say we're involved"
