Luckily Riley had stopped himself from slipping into his headspace, as he wasn't sure how Alfie would react and Nikolai wasn't hear to protect him incase things went south.

Instead he gritted his teeth and tried not tp focus on the pain.

They finally got the bleeding to stop and disinfected the small, yet troublesome cut.

Afterwards they wrapped a band-aid around it then finished up breakfast.

Currently both boys were seated in the living room, brainstorming ways to spend the day.

"How about going to the pool?"

"I would, but I can't swim"
Riley chuckled nervously.

"Nevermind, we've already sliced off your finger Nik would literally erase me if you drowned"

"How about we go to the mall?"

"Can't leave the hotel without a bodyguard and I can't ask Nik to send one because he never answers during meetings... Unless"

"What?"

"Where's your phone?"

"Upstairs why?"

"Let's go"

Alfie dragged him to his feet and pulled him up the stairs. After circling the room for a minite he finally released a triumphant laugh before handing Riley his phone.

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

"Wow, have you not been paying attention? Call Nik and ask him if we can go out"

"B-but he's working I wouldn't want to interrupt him you know"

"Oh it's fine he won't be mad at you... I think"

"You think?!"

"I know!"

With a wary look Riley scrolled through the phone until he found the name he was looking for.

"Here goes nothing"

They held their breath as the first ring sounded through the silent apartment.

Both boys glanced up at each other simultaneously before looking back down at the phone in Riley's slightly trembling hands.

"Why are you so nervous?"

"I've never called him before"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, he usually calls before I even get the chance to so I've never actually like called him"

"That is so weird"

"I know"

"But still you've talked over the phone so why are you nervous now?"

"What if he doesn't answer-?"

"Hello, Riley baby is something wrong?"

"N-no d- Nikolai I'm fine"
His face was a bright red as he glanced up at Alfie who was desperately trying to stifle the sound of his laughter.

"Did you just call me by my first name?"

He also weird saying it, but he didn't want to call the older daddy in front of Alfie as he didn't know if the little minx would be okay with their lifestyle.

"Yes"
He responded warily unsure of how Nikolai would react.

"I don't like it"

"Neither do I, but I'm not alone"
