Riley kept unconsciously licking his lips and fixing his appearance as they made it through the crowd.

The auction segment had ended minutes ago and now people were moving around and mingling.

"You look fine darling"

Riley couldn't stop blushing, they really did that when hundreds of people were only a few doors away.

Somehow it made the experience even more erotic, but still very nerve-wracking.

"Riley, where were you guys? I turned around after the last item was sold and you guys were gone"

The younger turned to look at Emily who was making her way towards them, Drew hot on her heels.

"Oh- we- I- he-"

"We just went to use the bathroom"
Nikolai ended up speaking for the stuttering little who just nodded in agreement.

"Uh huh"
Emily snickered before receiving a look from her daddy.

Clearing her throat she grabbed unto Riley's hand.

"Mr. Frost, may I have this dance?"

"Oh, I-I can't dance"

"What do you mean you can't dance?"

"I mean I have two left feet and I will step all over you if we go unto that dance floor"

After thinking for a moment Emily shrugged.

"I don't care, let's go"

He was pulled unto the dance floor against his will and the older wrapped her arms around his neck.

Awkwardly, Riley held her waist and they just started swaying.

"You're my bestfriend, you know that?"

"Of course I do silly. You're my bestfriend too" He smiled.

"And you know that I love you right?"

"Whatever it is, no"

He started to get a weird vibe, halting his movements he gazed at her suspiciously. With a sigh Emily pulled him into a hug.

"I'm so sorry"

"What's going on?"

"I-I'm leaving the day after tomorrow"

"What? Why?"

"Work, I'm a travel author remember?"

"Can't you travel to Vegas or something?"

"Hehe, I don't really write about the states. I think I only have two books about it"

"Where are you going?"

"Scotland"

"Well, I'm very happy for you"

"Thanks Riley, I'll be back before you even know I'm gone"

"That's impossible, I'll know the second you get on the plane"

Emily giggled before pulling him into a hug and they stayed like that for the rest of the song.

"May I have this dance?"
Drew's voice cut through the small gap of silence they experienced during the ending of the song.

Emily pulled away and gave Riley a questioning look. He smiled before kissing her cheek and walking away.

He had decide to go searching for Nikolai, however he saw him talking to a group of men and decided against it not wanting to interrupted what was most likely a business conversation.
