"Know what?"

"Daddy"
Riley drawled, almost whining but catching himself before he could.

With a sigh Nikolai bit into his toast. He had really hoped that Riley would drop the conversation, it wasn't something he wanted to discuss, but seeing his little one so adamant had him responding anyway.

"People are refusing to do business with me because of my sexual orientation"

The room was plunged into a tense silence. Riley who had been eating and swinging his legs merrily felt as though he had been doused by a bucket of cold water.

"O-oh"

"Don't do what"

"Do what?"

"Blame yourself, I've always been gay Riley this isn't your fault"

He gazed up at the older man
"You've been able to hide it for years, if it wasn't for me no one would know and you'd still be able to conduct your business"

"It takes two to tango, I knew the risks of going public but I did it anyway. Baby I don't care what anyone says as a matter of fact I'm glad they're coming forward now, it's a relief to be able to see people's true colours"

"Are you losing money?"

"I make more money than I lose. The trick now is to replace the deals that I lost, because I do precise budgeting whenever I do anything and that has been messed up a little, especially now that I'm opening a new club there are some things I need to move around"

After listening to his explanation, Riley felt a little better.

"If you need any help I could always be an investor or something"

"I'll keep that in mind"

Of course he would never actually use the younger's money, but he knew it was the only way to completely reassure him. 

"When do you start your exams?"

"Next week, why?"

"No reason"

The small mischievous smile on his face had the blonde wondering what Nikolai had in store for him, whatever it was he knew it would amazing.

With a small giggle he finished up his breakfast.

"Daddy no!"

The little squealed, his adorable giggles rang throughout the upper floor of the house as Nikolai's finger lightly dug into his sides.

"S-stop-haha!"

"I thought you weren't ticklish my love"

"I-I'm n- ahh"

He tried to argue but couldn't contain the laughter and light shrieks that escaped his soft lips.

"What was that? Hmm, I can't hear you baby you may have to speak up"

"Okay, okay. You wi-in"

The older released a satisfied smile before stopping his movements.

Riley took ragged breaths as he attempted to steady his breathing, he hadn't thought that Nikolai would actually tickle him. Granted the younger had started it by claiming he wasn't ticklish then making a bet with the older.
