Aria's POV

I had just gotten out of the shower and I was going through my closet looking for something to wear. Today was the big day, the event was only a few hours away and I had not decided what to put on yet. I put some of my dresses on the bed and looked at them, trying to pick one of them to wear.

None of this are good enough. Maybe I should have just gone shopping with Cassie yesterday when she told me too.

I heard the front door open and I knew that Cassie was back from school.

"I am here." She said as she walked in my room carrying two shopping bags.

"What is with all the bags?" I asked.

"They are for you." She said.

"What do you mean for me?" I asked as I walked over to her and took the bags from her hands.

"Since you didn't agree to go shopping with me yesterday, I figured that I should just go to the mall alone and buy you an outfit to wear today."

I looked inside one of the bags and took out a beautiful dress.

"Oh my gosh!" I exclaimed. " Cassie, this is beautiful. Thank you."

"You're welcome, now hurry up and get dressed, you do not want to be late."

I walked inside the bathroom and put on the dress. It was nude and it reached me just above the knees and on the left side had a cut that went all the way to my thigh, it had one arm which was on the right side and a V-shaped cut on the front that exposed my cleavage, it was really gorgeous.

I walked out of the bathroom and Cassie gasped when she saw me.

"You look amazing Ari." She said calling me by the nickname she gave me.

"Thanks."

"Now sit here and I will do your hair and makeup." She said pointing to the chair in front my makeup draw.

After fifteen minutes, she was done and I looked at myself in the mirror. There was not much of a difference, I was still ugly and no amount of makeup could change that. Cassie had curled my hair at the ends and she had done an amazing job with it.

Only that it isn't really my hair.

"So, what do you think?" She asked as she looked at me through the mirror and I forced myself to put on a smile.

"I love it, thank you."

"Now put on this." She said as she took out a pair of nude heels from the other shopping bag.

"You also bought me shoes?" I asked as she handed the shoes to me.

"Of course, you can't buy a beautiful dress like that without a nice pair of heels to match with it."

I put on the shoes and stood up and looked at myself in the mirror.

"You look lovely Ari." Cassie said as she stood beside me.

Thanks Cassie."

"Now let's go, I'll drop you off." She said and we walked out of the room.

Ever since Cassie came back from her mother's house she has been in a really good mood, and that is because she had settled all the differences she had with her mother. She had even told me that her mother had agreed to go to rehabilitation center so as to get rid of her drinking habit.

"Today is your last day working for Axel and you still haven't told him anything." Cassie said, pulling me out of my thoughts and I just kept quiet.

"You have to settle your differences with him Aria you can't continue like this." She said.
