Aria's POV

I looked at Axel as the doctor gave him the my report. His face turned into a frown then he looked at me. I knew what was written on those reports so I didn't look surprise because it was something that I was expecting. I tried to put a smile on my face so as to assure him that it's ok, but he looked away frustrated and threw the reports on the desk.

"What is this! What kind of hospital doesn't offer quality services?" He yelled as he hit his hand on the desk causing Dr.Peterson to jump on his chair.

"I'm sorry sir but Aria's health is...." The doctor said but Axel cut him off.

"Don't you dare even finish what you have to say." He said in a low angry voice.

"Axel please it's okay." I said as I put my hand on his arm.

He looked at me for a while and saw the look on my face before calming down.

"It's okay." I said again and he ran a hand over his hair.

"I'm sorry for how I reacted doctor." He said and the doctor nodded his head.

"It's okay Mr.Campbell, I totally understand your situation, but you have to understand that we have tried our best and there is nothing more we can do." The doctor said and Axel closed his eyes as if in pain.

"I will get the forms for the bill for you to fill now, please excuse me." The doctor said as he stood up and left the office.

Axel looked at me before standing up and run his hands over his face.

"Axel."I said as I stood up going to him. "Calm down." I put my hand on his arm but he pulled back from me.

"No Aria, you can't expect me to calm down. There's..... there is got to be something we can try..... I.....I know there is...... I.... I just know......." He groaned frustratedly as his pushed back his hair.

"We've given it our all Axel there is nothing else....." I started to say but he put his hand over my mouth cutting me off.

"Don't, don't say that Aria don't." He leaned in closer to me and put his forehead on mine.

We stayed like that for a while, each of us lost in our own thoughts as we let silence fill over the room.

The door opened and the doctor came in with a clipboard on his hand and that had the papers we were supposed to sign.

"Here you go." The doctor said as he gave Axel the clipboard and pen and after signing the papers we walked out of the office with the doctor.

*******
The car ride was silent, Axel hadn't looked at me ever since we got from the hospital and I knew why.

I knew it was hard for Axel to accept that I am not going to survive but I wanted to assure him that it's going to be okay. To be honest I myself was not okay and it took so much in me to wake up every single morning and just act like I am alright when at the back of my head I knew very well that I am going to die. It was like a battle inside of me, one part of me is like it's good that I am going to leave soon and set everyone free but another part of me is like do I really want to go, am I ready to leave this world and leave everyone I love behind.

The car came to a stop and I looked at Axel. I knew he was to angry to speak and I wasn't in a good emotional state right now, so I opened the door and got out of the car.

I was walking towards the elevator when Axel called me.

"Aria!" I looked at him and saw him walk towards me. He came to where I was standing and took my hands in his. He looked down for a while before taking a deep breath and looking at me.
