Aria's POV
I quickened my pace as I felt someone following. After I had resigned from the Campbell Glams Corporation, I decided to go home, I did not hail a cab because I just felt like walking and gather my thoughts, but now as I think of it, maybe it was not such a good idea to walk home at this time of the night because I felt like as if someone was following me, I looked behind again but I didn't see anyone.
I decided to run but I wasn't going fast enough with the heels I was wearing. I felt someone's footsteps behind me and I ran even faster. I came to an alley and decided to use it as a short cut.
I took a turn into the alley and bumped into a hard chest. I looked up to see who it was and I couldn't believe my eyes.
"Jake." I said almost in a whisper.
"Glad you still remember me bitch."
I turned around and was about to run when a car stopped in front of me blocking my way and a man walked out. I could not see his face as it was dark.
"Where do you think you are going princess?" He asked as he moved closer and I squinted my eyes to see who it was. I immediately recognized him. He was the same cab driver who was staring at me weirdly, he looked so familiar but I don't remember his name.
"You are the cab driver." I said as I slowly started walking back.
"Oh you remember now, hope you also remember how you tried to kill me?" He asked and I stared at him with a confused look.
"I....I don't... know what you are talking about." I stuttered and he smirked, obviously enjoying my scared state.
"Don't you now? You don't remember smashing a bottle on my head?" He asked and that is when I recalled the day I escaped from Jake's place. I remembered that there was a guy who tried to stop me from escaping and I had to hit him with the bottle so as to defend myself, but I don't remember his name.
"Do you remember now?" He asked in a low dangerous voice and I started trembling.
"What do you want?" I asked as tears started rolling down my cheeks.
"I am here to get revenge on you, I told you that you are going to pay." He said and his last words came flashing back in my mind.
You are going to pay for this!"
I stopped walking when I bumped into something and I looked back to see Jake smirking at me. I took my phone from my clutch bag and tried calling for help but Jake took it from my hand.
"You know, there is an easy way to do this." Jake said as he threw my phone to the ground and smashed it under his shoes.
"You can come with us voluntarily, or we would just have to do it the hard way." Jake said.
"I am not going anywhere with you bastards." I spatted, trying to sound brave even though I was really terrified.
"Let me take care of her." The other man said as he pulled my hair, accidentally yanking my wig of in the process.
"What the.....?" Jake trailed off and the other man started laughing.
"Not only are you ugly, but now you are bald too." He said in between his laughs and I looked down as I cried.
"Enough laughing Michael, we need to take her to the base." Jake said as he grabbed me from behind.
I tried wiggling out of his hold but it was of no use.
"Stop struggling you hairless freak." He said as he started dragging me.
I pulled up my leg and stepped on him hard with my heels. I heard him groan in pain and his hold on me loosened and I took that as an opportunity to ran away.
