Axel's POV
"Hiii Aideeen." She slurred as she stumbled towards Aiden who was seated on a chair.
Aiden looked at Aria before giving me a questioning look.
"Is she drank?"
"Apparently, she is."
When did she even start drinking? She never used to drink.
"Noooo I am not drank, I told you I am just tipsy look I can even walk straight without stumbling." She took a few steps and stumbled but Aiden caught her before she fell to the ground.
"Okay, that was an accident but I can hop on one foot." She stood on one foot and started hopping.
"Just stop all this nonsense." I said and she put her foot down.
"Why do you have to be so grumpy? You are always frowning like this." She said as she made a frowning face and Aiden chuckled.
I glared at him and he shrugged.
"What? She is hilarious."
"Why are you drank?" I asked.
"To relive myself of stress." She said casually.
"So if someone has stress they take alcohol?" I asked.
"Yeah, I see people do it in movies."
"So are you stress-free now?"
"Well...no..." She pouted her lips and looked at the floor like a child being lectured.
"So what is stressing you so much that made you come to work drank?"
"Everything."
"Everything?" I asked.
"Yes. My mother is dead and my father is very sick, and I don't have anyone to be here for me, well I mean I have Cassie and Xander but I want to have you Axel, but I can't, because you hate me."
I put my hands in my pockets as I listened at her keenly.
"You think that I left on our wedding day because I eloped with some guy but have you ever stopped to think about what really happened? No? You haven't." Tears started flowing down her cheeks.
What was she talking about?
"You all think that I am the bad person here but have you ever stopped to think what I am going through, well have you? I have gone through so much shit and here I am today still going through a lot of shit, but do I complain no, I don't." She stumbled a little but held onto the desk for support.
"You keep accusing me of trying to seduce men and I keep wondering how is that even possible when I am the ugly freak." She laughed bitterly before continuing.
"Xander, the guy at the bakery, I keep telling you that he is just a friend that happened to offer me a job at his bakery but you on insisting that he is my boyfriend, well here is the truth Axel, Xander isn't my boyfriend, in fact he has a crush on Cassie and he is even planning on telling her how he feels very soon."
Who the heck are Xander and Cassie? Is Xander the bakery guy?
"And what about Connor? You think I am after him too, you are wrong Axel, Connor is nothing more than a brother to me and he treats me like his little sister."
She tried walking forward but fell to the ground. Aiden moved forward to help her but she waved him away.
"No no, I am fine, it's not like this is my first time falling I will just pick myself up like I always do."
