Chapter Thirty Five

Axel's POV

"Is he going to be okay doctor?" My father asked.

"Yes Mr.Campbell, he should just follow the prescription I have given him and not stress himself and all will be fine."

"Thank you so much doctor, let me walk you to the door." He said and left the room with the doctor.

"It's all that girl's fault. I knew it from the beginning that something like this would happen because of that girl." My mother said.

"I will make sure Axel is fine and that he follows the doctor's instructions." Aiden said.

"What Axel needs to do is fire that girl and kick her out of his life." My mother said.

I was about to speak up when the door opened and my father entered the room.

"Enough is enough Axel when are you going to eliminate that girl from your life?" He asked.

"Soon dad."

"How soon?" He asked.

"She only has a week and then I will fire her." I said as I looked at Axel.

"Good." My mother said and left the room with my father.

"How is....."

"Don't worry, I took Aria home when the ambulance had come to pick you up." Aiden said cutting me off.

"How did you know I was going to ask about her?"

"It's obvious bro, you still care about her and I can see that."

Is it true? Do I still care about Aria?

"Are you really going to fire her Axel?"

"I don't know bro."

It was Saturday and I knew that today was Lisa's day off, that is if she was still working for my family. I walked across the yard and up the steps of small staircase in front of the house and rang the doorbell.

I just hope that she still lives here.

The door opened and Lisa stood there with her eyes wide open.

"Aria is that you?"

"Yes Lisa, it is me."

"Oh my God I can't believe it's you." She said as she hugged me.

"I missed you so much Lisa." I said as we pulled apart.

"I missed you too."

"Come on in."

She moved away from the door and I stepped inside the house. It still looked the same as I remember. I used to come here with her every Saturday when she is taking the day off and go back home in the evening. It was a chance for me to get out of the house, I would hang out all day with her niece whom she lived with, Lisa loved her as if she was her own daughter.

"Nothing much as changed around here." She said as she noticed me looking around.

"Where is Audrey?" I asked.

"She went out a while ago with her uncle Liam to get ice cream."

"How have you been Lisa?"

"I'm good."

"What about Audrey and Liam?"

"Oh my goodness, I think that I have two kids in the house, Liam is in highschool but he still behaves like a child, you might think that he is in preschool with Audrey." She said and I chuckled, I always knew that Liam likes to goof around all the time but he was a really nice person.
