Aria's POV

I woke up and went straight to the bathroom, after freshening up and deciding to put on a pair of jeans and a long sleeved blouse. I tied my hair into a ponytail and left my room and headed for the dining area where I found my mother already set for breakfast.

"Morning mum?" I said as I went over to her and kissed her cheek, I was not going to let yesterday's argument ruin the morning.

"Morning honey. How did you sleep?" She asked as Lisa and Maya started setting the table.

"I slept great mum."

Just then my father joined us in the dining area which was kind of surprising because he never eats at the dining area when I am around. He put his briefcase down and took his seat next to my mother whom I noticed was shifting uncomfortably in her seat.

There is definitely something they are hiding from me.

"Morning Aria?" He greeted me and after some hesitation I answered. "Morning dad."

We were quietly eating breakfast when my father decided to break the silence.

"How are things going on between you and Axel?"

"They are going great." I answered as I carried on with eating breakfast, although I was wondering what had gotten into my father because we barely say to words to each other.

A moment of silence of silence passed by and my father spoke up again.

"Aria, since things between you and Axel are going great, how about we speed things up a little a bit with the wedding plans?"

"What do you mean speed things up a little bit? Isn't the wedding is in a few months?"

"It was in a few months but now it's in a few weeks." He said casually as if moving a person's wedding date without their consent is no big deal.

"A few weeks? How could you move the wedding date without even informing me?"

"Because I didn't feel the need to inform you, and plus I have already talked to Axel's parents about this and they have agreed so everything is settled."

"But dad, it is my wedding shouldn't I have a say in this too?" I said as I started to feel the anger inside of me boiling.

"Aria, I have already told you that everything is settled." He said as he took his briefcase and stood up from his seat.

"But dad, don't you feel like you are taking things a little too fast." I said as I tried to control my temper.

"Aria, the decisions have already been made and that is final." He said and went away.

I looked at my mother whom all this while was quietly sitting in her chair.

"Mum, did you know about this?" I asked as I looked her straight in the eyes.

"Aria I....." She started but I cut her off.

"Just answer the question mum, did you know about this?" I asked again.

"I did, but your father is just doing what's best for you." She explained.

"There you go again mum, defending him. This is my life we are talking about but here you are handling it as if it is a business deal."

"Aria please just listen to me...." She started saying but I quickly got up and walked out of the room.

*******
I was lying on my bed and staring at the ceiling when someone knocked on my door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's me Lisa." I heard Lisa's voice from outside the room.

"Come in, it's open." I said and she came in.
