ARYA SAVIER

"Arya! Arya Savier!"

I glanced up from my half-finished food and saw an excited looking Jadey. When her face is like this, I'm just sure she's on in a secret or something and she just can't wait to tell me.

"I've got some news for you! You've got to hear this!" Jadey exclaimed.

"Shhh! Keep it down will you? People are staring!"

I quickly dragged Jadey down to sit beside me since some heads are already staring at us curiously.

"So, what've you got Jadey?" I teased as I got back on munching at my cheeseburger.

"Guess Brian's new dance partner at the prom!!"

I almost choke on my soda at the mention of Brian's name. I don't want to seem obvious so I just shrugged my shoulder like I couldn't care less.

"Oh come on! I know you care! His partner is that snake Claudette!"

I covered Jadey's mouth since she was practically shouting. I couldn't take it anymore, so I dragged her outside. People were now throwing weird glances anyway so it's probably for the best.

"Don't you think it's absurd? Rumours have been going around the campus that Claudette begged their P.E teacher to have Brian as a partner and besides, the higher years are talking about how Claudette finally broke up with her boyfriend! It's clear she's done playing hard to get and is finally after Brian!"

Jadey continue to babble on without even pausing for some air. Sometimes it amazes me how this woman could be such a tattle-tale sometimes. But still I was trying to absorb everything slowly. Claudette? Going after Brian?

We were rounding a corner towards the gym since P.E class was next after break anyway and we were surprised to see third years practicing their prom dance in there.

Ugh! Speak of the devil. I wish Brian's Section was not the one practicing for prom.

"Hey Arya! Jadey!"

A voice called our attention and Jadey and I was surprised to see a struggling lieutenant, carrying some boxes that was probably equal to his own weight.  We hurried to help him out.

"What were you doing with this heavy baggage anyway?"

Jadey grunted while putting some of the materials on the backstage.

"I'm helping out my older sister, she's assigned on the props committee for this prom! Actually, I still need to get back there and bring some stuff back."

Lieu wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead. As much as I hate to go around juniors in the hopes of avoiding Brian, I could see that Lieu was having a hard time. I sighed.

"It's okay Lieu, we'll help you out, besides, I think it was high time we meet your crazy sister right?"

I smiled and Lieu grinned.

"Oh great, the next time I grew some biceps, I sure know who to blame," Jadey scowled at Lieu's direction.

"No one invited you to come miss Dilly-dally."

"Oh shut up!"

I rolled my eyes and took some boxes. Some things never change.

"Jerson! Where the heck were you and what took you so long?"

"Ugh! Sorry sis! I brought help, these are my friends, Arya and Jadey."
