W A R N I N G
ARYA SAVIER
Mfff!!Hmfff!!
My screams were muffled by the strong hands that wrapped against my mouth. I was about to bite the hands off but my eyes widened when I saw Brian.
He was signaling me to be quiet then he slowly released me.
I think my heart's about to explode.
One minute, my blood's been pumping because of the adrenaline rush and now – oh well.
"Sorry about that, did I scare you?" He grinned.
Ugh, the familiar feeling of wanting to punch his arm was back. His cocky attitude was back.
"Scare? Scare was an understatement you dummy! Never get behind a woman like that for pete's sake!" I scowled.
"Well sorry about –
He stopped. We heard footsteps approaching the corner. I looked at him and he stared at me then he quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me inside the girls' bathroom.
Yep, he seriously entered the no-man-allowed-zone.
Good thing the bathroom was empty when we walked in, I raised an eyebrow at him waiting for an explanation but he just opened a cubicle pulled me right in and closed it. Just the same time we heard the door to the bathroom open and girls giggling.
"Hey! Hey! Don't you think that basketball club guys are cool?"
"Yep! They're totally hot!"
"Really? I find the guy who wasn't wearing a jersey but was with them totally handsome! Who is he anyway?" Gushed one of the girls.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Brian bit his lip he was stopping himself from snickering.
I can't believe this. Brian and I all huddled inside a small cubicle eavesdropping on the conversation of girls about they're crushes.
"I think he's name was Brian Christian Harvard, he's really famous among the higher years you know."
My eyes widened when Brian gave me a wink. Ugh, I swear his liver must be swelling up with cockiness right now.
I couldn't help it I pinch Brian's side and he yelped he scowled at me then mouthed the words "What-the-hell?"
"You-deserved-it" I mouthed back.
We stayed very still and waited until the girls were gone. I was very conscious of myself now. We were so close to each other that I could smell his perfume. I'm tempted to bury myself in his neck and just be lost. Even the shampoo smell in his hair was so inviting.
My eyes couldn't help but wander towards him. Brian grew taller that's for sure. His built even grew manlier over the last two months of summer I haven't seen him. If anything, I'm sure more girls are chasing after her now.
I closed my eyes. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to enjoy this closeness for a while.
"Hey...I think they're gone now."
My reverie was broken by his gentle voice.
"Man-girl? Don't tell me you're smelling me now?" He chuckled I reddened at the truth and pushed him away.
"W-Why the heck would I?! I-I wouldn't!!" I stuttered.
He just grinned and opened the door of the cubicle.
"W-Why the he-heck did you dragged me in here anyway?" I desperately tried to change the subject since he was still grinning on me. Clearly he was enjoying seeing me all flustered.
"Well, for starters, I wanted to talk to you in private and I never saw you around without that bodyguard of yours so when I saw you walking alone down here, I couldn't help but take the chance." He leaned on the wall. He was so comfortable and so confident around me now.
Very different from the first time we met. Maybe because he was a senior now? Or was it because there was something different. At first, I even thought it would be awkward to talk to him.
"Y-You could have just texted me or called me to arrange a meeting." I muttered.
"Oh! I would've loved that, except...It just so happen that I don't have your number." He explained matter-of-factly and his tone was clearly teasing me.
Ugh! I still hate his cockiness.
"Oh right! I would've given you my number except...You didn't asked!" I retorted. To my surprise he just chuckled then took out his phone.
"Here, please give me your precious number."
I scowled then took his expensive phone. Wow this guy sure is rich, then encoded my number.
"Yess!"
"What?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Err – Nothing, anyways, this was not the only reason why I approached you." He bit his lip like he was trying hard to stay serious. I swear this guy's cheeks will soon rip off because of that cheeky smile he's trying to stop from showing.
"Okay Harvard. Say what you want before we ran in on another of your fan girls here." I couldn't help but smile too. What? His smile was contagious.
"You know Prince...right?" He said. Now his brows were furrowed and I quickly saw anger flash on his eyes for a moment but it was quickly replaced by something else.
"Yeah...He's my annoying seatmate. Why?" I curiously asked. I knew it! This two know each other!
"He's dangerous. I don't want you near him, understand?" His eyes were filled with concern.
"What? But I really don't underst –
My statement was interrupted by the loud ringing of the school bell. I guess recess was up. Many students now should be coming from the canteen and returning to their classrooms so we should probably get going if we don't want anyone to spot us together in this female bathroom.
"I'll go out first and go out five minutes after me. Just keep your expression normal." Brian said. Then he walked towards the door and held the handle but stopped.
"What is it?" I couldn't help but asked.
He faced me and smiled. "By the way? If you have given me you're number I wouldn't have gone through all that agony for a whole two months."
"What do you mean?" I stared at him confusedly.
"I missed you damn it."
He strode towards me with two quick steps kissed my lips then rushed out the door without looking back.
