W E D D I N G
BRIAN CHRISTIAN HARVARD
Did you had that one moment in your life when everything felt surreal?
Well, I'm experiencing that kind just right now. One minute ago I just had this crazy idea of proposing to this one special girl, and right now? I'm standing in the front most of the aisle wearing a silly, make-shift suit and a silly grin.
There was some kind of cheesy love song playing in the background and at the corner of my eye, I caught some whistling and my eyes widened when I saw Anton and the gang.
What the heck were they doing here?
That's when I noticed Cristie giggling at my side. Oh, she was quick to inform the others alright.
I gave out a sigh.
Well, doesn't matter anyway, when a person experiences his most special moment, nothing could stop his good mood, not even the teasing of some good ol' friends.
After all, this is my wedding with man-girl.
The place was simple really, some plastic chairs, a red carpet in the center, some flowers and decorations here and there, some elementary kids, my sister's classmates I presume, were running about getting everything in order.
I swear the priest was near the makeshift altar and he was wearing a costume too.
I never even have a thought of how my wedding day would be, I didn't even thought it was possible, not until I met her of course.
Darn it, have I gone too soft?
"Hey, you can't get distracted on your wedding day! Look!" Cristie tugged at my shirt and there my gaze found the reason why I'm here in the first place.
Waking modestly was a girl wearing a simple white dress. Her hair was tied up in some kind of beautiful, messy way and there was also a makeshift veil. I almost didn't recognize her.
"W-where, d-did you get the wedding dress?"
"It's a special one. Why I borrowed it from Grandma's closet of course!"
"Gr-grandma's?"
I was speechless. If I remembered correctly, grandma and grandpa runaway and wedded without their parent's permission. Grandma was a rich girl and my grandpa was a hardworking guy from the province.
I stood there gazing at Arya. Dumbstrucked.
She was beautiful as always, she was walking towards me in her usual awkward kind of way. She might not be as graceful as the other women, not as beautiful nor as sexy, but she's perfect for me.
I couldn't stop the feelings that were stirring within me. I felt my heart swelling, its like everything stopped and just like that I was lost in a scene.
There were no other people, just her walking in a grand aisle in some church, she was wearing a more beautiful gown, her beautiful face mever changed, but there was some kind of maturity in her, I don't know but it looked like she aged. Somewhere in her twenty's?
But something about her eyes, eyes filled with happiness as she walked towards me made my heart filled with happiness too.
She was here to get married at the man destined for her.
And I'm just so happy to be that guy for her.
"Brian?"
I snapped from my little daydream as Arya's hands held my arm.
