Creepy Letters
A R Y A
One late afternoon, I was hanging around the library for a project that has to be submitted tomorrow. Few people could be seen in the library.
I was observing the people around when I noticed a skinny girl walking about. She was visibly nervous and kept on looking at her watch while also glancing around. She looked like she was from the higher years, probably a sophomore. I wonder who she's waiting for. She suddenly disappeared among the bookshelves before I could say anything more.
Since I also needed to get a reference book for the project that I was working on, I followed her to the bookshelf area. I was looking for the book I need when I heard a familiar voice.
"Are you the one that sent me this letter? "
"Yes, I've been meaning to tell you something. I-I-Love -" The girl stuttered.
"Shut up. You're going to confess right? You're no different from those senseless girls who confess to me every other day."
"B-but I'm -" The girl was startled.
"I just came here to tell you just how annoyed I was since you wouldn't stop putting those stupid letters in my locker. This morning was even worse! You placed your damn filthy hair and threatened to kill yourself if I don't see you!"
I couldn't contain my curiosity any longer and took a peek between the spaces of the books placed together. It was none other than Brian Christian. He was talking to the girl who was waiting anxiously a while ago.
"B-But you're always ignoring me! I mean, I'm the one who is best fitted for you! I'm the daughter of a famous CEO of a top company in the industry. I'm smart and beautiful, why can't you see that? I love you, I love you so badly and I want to be your girlfriend!" The girl was clearly out of her mind, she sound so obsessed.
I can't believe what I'm hearing. The girl didn't even probably know Brian enough. How could she say she love him?
What did she saw in this idiotic guy anyway? I continued my eavesdropping session. I knew it was bad but hey! They were so loud anyway, so anyone in earshot could hear right? I just happened to be within vicinity!
"That doesn't make you any better than the others. In fact, you're a lower level than most of them by doing this." Brian uttered coldly.
"You'll regret this!" The girl threatened then ran away crying.
I understood that the girl was desperate but did he have to say those words to her? Damn this foolish guy, he was so insensitive! I'm decided to give him a piece of my mind.
"YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY THAT YOU KNOW! WHAT KIND OF A STUPID EXCUSE FOR A MAN ARE YOU?" I was so pissed that I couldn't control myself. Brian's surprised eyes greeted me as I walked towards him.
"Excuse me, but who're you?"
"It doesn't matter as I was saying -
"Look, I don't care who you are, but didn't your parents teach you that it's naughty to eavesdrop?" He smirked.
His smile annoyed me. He was apparently taunting me, reprimanding me like I'm some kid.
I instantly want to punch his arrogant face. I don't care what Jadey would say.
"What? Remembered your manners?" He mockingly said.
Now that does it! The nerve of this - Shoot! I snapped
Without thinking, I grabbed the collar of his uniform and shouted;
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE PLAYING WITH THE HEARTS OF GIRLS? For your information, you're not the only guy in this world and most definitely, not all girls think you're handsome! Don't get so cocky you -
I was going to continue scolding him when in an instant, all the lights on the library went out.

I was on my way home from basketball practice when I decided to get back to my locker to get some books I needed for my homework.
When I opened my locker, imagine my irritation to find a bloody letter with some hair on it. Shit! This got to be the worst one so far!
I opened the letter with disgust. I normally don't open any letters sent here in school. They were probably from fan girls anyways but I've got the feeling if I don't open this one, something bad might happen.
"Meet me on the library specifically on the general section corner; I'll wait for you until 6:30PM. Brian. I don't know what to do anymore, if you won't come... I'll kill myself."
Now I was enraged. This girl had some nerve! I slammed my locker shut and got my bag and went off towards the library.
Her explanation better be good.
Let me clear this up, it's not like I had any sympathy for this looser. Heck, I don't even care if she commits suicide. I was so irritated by her methods. She was plain desperate that I couldn't help but make her feel shit, personally.
. . . . .
As I predicted, she was going to naively confess, and now she ends up crying.
Good! This only proves that she's really a loser. Girls! They're all the same. Deprive them of what they want and they go home crying.
I was about to walk out of that stupid library when all of a sudden, I felt shuffling and movement behind some book shelves.
"YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY THAT YOU KNOW! WHAT KIND OF A STUPID EXCUSE FOR A MAN YOU ARE?!
I was shocked. It's the I.D girl
Yeah I know, it sounds so lame but I didn't quite catch her name the last time so I decided to call her I.D Girl for now.
Think of something to say Brian! Don't just stand there and gawk!
I regained my composure and decided to play the cool card.
"Excuse me?But who're you?"
Why do I want to know her name?
Does it matter?Aren't all girls the same?
"It doesn't matter as I was saying -
"Look, I don't care who you are, but didn't your parents teach you that it's naughty to eavesdrop?" I smirked.
Shit! That wasn't what was on my mind! I wanted to face slap as I saw her face turned into an outraged one.
Now I've done it! I offended her. She must think badly of me now, so much for first impressions. Well whatever, the way her brows furrowed and her cute huge cheeks reddened that I couldn't resist it; it was out in my mouth before I knew it.
"What? Remembered your manners?" I teased.
My eyes widened. Her response was much unexpected I was taken aback. She pulled my collar and screamed at me.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE PLAYING WITH THE HEARTS OF GIRLS?! For your information, you're not the only guy in this world and most definitely, not all girls think you're handsome! Don't get so cocky you -
The lights went out.
She kind of cried in surprise and scooted near me.
Typical response of girs when in danger - cling to guys
I was struggling to hide my grin. I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing. The strong façade of this silly girl was gone now.
She got some guts to challenge me but I admit, her mad face was very - entertaining.
Looks like opening that scary letter wasn't a bad choice after all...
