𝓦𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 ~ 𝚂𝚊𝚖 𝚆𝚒𝚕𝚜𝚘𝚗

Awkward..........9

We've been driving for hours, I'm not exactly sure where we are going but it was for a good cause. Sharon wasn't the best company, she didn't really match my energy not that I was necessarily complaining I could use some boring friends.

"So what's going on with you and Captain Spangles?" I ask her keeping my focus on the road.

"I'm sorry?" She asks me.

"Come on don't play dumb, you watched him for months on end, helped him take down Hydra and Sheild in the process. You also just stole government property from a government facility." I say like she was stupid.

" I'm just doing my job,"

"Ah yes because stealing  from a government facility Is part of your job, keep telling your self that," We drive the rest of the way in silence eventually I pull off the road comeing to a stop underneath a bridge. In about ten muinets a car pulls to a stop behind ours Sharon and I both exit the car.

"Not sure you understand the concept of a getaway car rodgers," I say as Steve walks up to us.

" It's low profile," He defendes, I roll my eyes walking over to teh car where Sam and Bucky were sitting.

"Can you move your seat up?" I hear Bucky ask from the backseat.

"No," Sam replies rudly, something tells me they don't get a long very well. The sour look on his face however disappeared when he saw me aproach the car.

"Hey Sammy long time no see," I say leaning my elbows on the window of the car.

"Hey, how are you holding up?" He asks me.

"I'm ok, a couple nightmares ahve come back, but nothing I can't handle." I reply before turning my focus to the man in the backseat. "Marley Garcia, you must be the dude that's got my two best men running from the law." he doesn't reply, just stares at me. I slowly nod my head, "Ok then..." I trail off into silence. I notice Sam looking forward out the front window, I turn my head and see Steve and Sharon kissing. I had many thoughts on that. One i did not want to see that today, two I knew there was more going on with them, and three, "Awkward,"  I mumble under my breath before walking away from teh window and getting into the backseat of the car next to Bucky.

Bucky and Sam both give me confused looks that I just shrug off, I they thought I wasn't going to go with them then they are out of tehir minds. Steve finishes his conversation with Sharon before getting back into the drivers side seat infront of me. We watch her car drive away before Steve starts to drive away aswell. The car was filled with uncomfortable silence, Bucky was now in the muddle seat since Sam refused to move his seat up and I didn't know what to say to the antisocial 100-year-old man.

"Nice arm," I settle on looking down at Bucky's left arm. "Do magnets stick to it?"  My question was met with silence as Bucky stares at me. I see Sam holding back his laughter in the front seat I look back at Bucky and watch him narrow his eyes at me. I slowly nod my head, "Magnets are not our friends... understood." The car falls back into silence.

I don't usually mind silence, peacful silence is just that peaceful. But this silence was different, full of akward tension. That kind of Silence I hate, I look between the three men in the car trying to mind something to talk about and failling miserably. Eventually I turn to Bucky again.

"So...uh.... how long have you Been growing you hair out?" This time Sam couldn't stop himself from laughing at my attempts to make conversation with the super soldier. " Hey you aren't allowed to laugh at me," I scold him. "I'm being nice to him, thats more then you can say!" Sam looks back at me still laughing only to stop when I give him a look that says 'stop or I swear I'll take your wings and rip them to shreds'. I turn to my right and give Bucky a smile once Sam stopped laughing and to my surprise I get a small Smile back.

A/N: This chapter was kind of fun to write.... I have a feeling the next chapter is going to be somewhat short just because of what scene it is but it will be fun (hopefully). I hope you guys are having a great day/night so far!! ~M
