Marley and Sam rounded a corner running from the government officials hot on their trail, the group was in a small town of Rhode Island in hopes that they could sneakily stay for a short while.
Another corner, another bend, the duo desperately trying to loose the men on their trail. They didn't know where the rest of the group went, they could deal with that later when they could actually go to the rendezvous point.
"Stop where you are!" The official shouts from behind them as they continue to run.
"Sorry sir we don't orders from slow people," Marley replies as She and Sam rounds another corner. Market used her powers quickly launching them up to the room of a building where they continued their trek.
After Jumping from building to building, sharing story after story, memory after memory Marley and Sam finally make it to the rendezvous point it.
"Took you long enough," Nat complains as the duo approaches the rest of the group.
"Not our fault we got chased," Marley complains as she collapses on the ground from exhaustion.
"No time for that, come on, " Nat says dragging her friend back to her feet. "We have to get on the road, we are obviously no longer safe here." Marley begrudgingly followed Nat to the cars.
"How does Ohio sound?" Steve asks the group looking for their next stop.
"We can try, but I think we'll have to go over the water at some point." Nat advises.
"How about we try one more spot in the states then if that doesn't work out we'll go across the water?" Marley suggests having caught her breath from the run.
"Sounds like a plan to me," Sam agrees and the rest of the group nods.
"Pietro your with Sam and Mar this time, we take different routes, same drill as always. Two days, if we haven't reunited by then you assume the other team got caught. You off the grid and you stay there. Every one got it?" Steve says giving a run down of the plan.
"Yes Steve we've only been over this a hundred times," Pietro groans. Making Marley laugh.
"Don't mouth off to your elders kid, especially not the 100 year old ones." She says as she places her arm around his shoulder forcing him to walk towards the car. Sam walks to the drivers side, Marley to the passengers side. "Everybody ready?" She asks her group of three when they nod their heads she looks back at Nat and Steve. "See you in a couple of hours." She says smileing before getting into the car.
A/N: the first three and a half chapters were pre writen earlier this week, I've litterally been waiting til midnight to spam yalls notifications.
I am so excited for this part!!!! I have everything mapped out, it's only going to be about 20 chapters but from chapter 5 and on they will (hopefully) be long, descriptive, and intense. So grab you snacks and a drink, (maybe some tissues) and buckle up. We are going for a ride!! ~M
