Birth-night pt.2 ........13

It was mid-afternoon and Marley was sitting on one of the couches in the main room of the compound, Meg curled up on her lap. Stevie was outside running around with Riley and red wing. 

"Hey beautiful," Sam says wrapping his arms around Marley's shoulders while leaning on the back of the couch.

"Hey baby," Marley says leaning her head back and looking at Sam. She smiles before placing a kiss on Sam's lips. Sam returns the smile before kissing Marley's nose causing to scrunch her face letting out a giggle. Sam walks around to the other side of the couch, sitting down next to Marley who automatically curls into his side being mindful of the cat on her lap. "You have eyes on Riley right?" Marley asks her head leaning on Sam.

"Red wing has it all under control, I promise,"

"Good to know," She says relaxing into Sam even more.

"You know if you want to take a nap you can," Sam says looking down at his wife who just shrugs her shoulders slightly. " Go to sleep, you're going to need your energy for tonight,"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Marley asks looking up.

"Tony was in charge of where we're going out tonight with the group, so knowing him, you're going to need you're energy,"

"Who's going to watch Riley?" Marley asks putting her head back into its previous spot.

"Well, some little birdy told me that Cooper and Lila were looking for some test run babysitting jobs,"

"You talked to Clint?" Marley asks perking up.

"I wanted to tell you, but Clint wanted it to be a surprise," Sam replies a small smile on his face. "Now go to sleep, you can hardly keep your eyes open," Marley slowly complies her body melting into Sam's as she slowly falls asleep.

"So Riley is really easy she's relatively well behaved. Her powers are mostly controlled, unless she's throwing a tantrum. Which she doesn't usually do. In the rare case that she does though Wanda said she was going to stay back in case you two need help. If Wanda doesn't work then call either me or Sam,"Marley says filling Lila in on Riley before they left for the night. Lila was nodding a long trying to keep up with Marley's fast words.

"Mar," Sam says attempting to cut off Marley's words and get her attention. "Mar, baby, hon?"He says this time stepping in front of her successfully getting Marley to stop talking. "You've told both Lila and Coop the same thing like three times, Riley will be fine," He says his hands on Marley's shoulders. Nat comes in next pulling on Marley's arms to get her to walk towards the door.

"Come on, it's your birthday, and you need a drink," Nat says as she continues to drag Marley towards the door.

"What the fuck," Sam says now standing by himself in front of Lila. "She just stole my girl," He says looking back at Lila causing the teen to laugh.

"You're luck I didn't do it sooner," Nat shouts back making Sam's jaw drop even more and Lila continued to laugh.

"I'm still confused on what this place is," Bucky says as he sits next to Sam a beer in his hand.

"It's a karaoke bar Buck, it's where you drink and do karaoke," Bucky gives Sam a look before taking a drink.

"I'm not an idiot Sam, i think I can figure out what you do at a karaoke bar," Sam just shrugs his shoulders before looking through the small crowd for his wife. A small smile forms on his face once he spots her laughing with Carol, Nat and Sarah.
