Baby, Baby, Baby.......2

"Sam!" Marley called when she stood up.

"Yep, yep, yep," He says turning the corner and coming down the stairs.

"My - " She says not finishing her sentence before Sam froze.

"Shit, Yeah ok let's go," He says moving over to Marley. He helps her walk over towards the door. "Can you do those by yourself?" He asks her. She nods her head as she puts on her shoes. " ok great, I got the hospital bag and I'll get Sarah on the phone," He says before rushing off.

"Hey Sam, what up?" Sarah says as she answers the phone.

"Uhh we got a code baby," He says making his way back through the house towards Marley.

"Oh shit. Hows she doing?" Sam walks towards the front door to see that Marley is already half way to the car.

"Considering she's halfway to the car I'd say she's hanging in there,"

"Ok well I have to get the boys to school, but I will be there,"

"Ok I have to get this show on the road," Sam says helping Marley into the car. "See you later Sarah,"

"Holy shit woman," Sam says as Marley squeezes his hand extremely hard.

"Don't you holy shit me Sam Wilson," Marley says squeezing his hand harder. "You're not the one pushing a human out of your vagina,"

"I don't have a vagina,"

"Don't smart mouth me either,"

"Ok, ok, ok, You just caught me off guard,"

"I'm going to Smack you,"

Around ten hours of labor later the baby was finally here and in Marley's arms.

"She's so beautiful," Marley says as she looks down at her child.

"Have you chosen a name yet? " a nurse asks looking up from her clipboard.

"We've narrowed it down to a couple," Sam says watching his wife with a smile. Marley looks up at Sam.

"Do you want to hold her again?" She asks seeing the look on his face.

"I'd love too," He says, Marley smiles as they work together to pass the baby to Sam's arms.

"She really likes you,"Marley says as the nurse walks out of the room.

"Well, I am a ladies man," Marley laughs at his words lightly smacking his shoulder.

"Keep telling yourself that,"

"I made you fall for me didn't I?"

"Oh please, you didn't make me do anything. If it was anyone other than me it was Riley, and he just made me..." She pauses looking for the right word. "Come to my senses,"

"I think we have our name," Sam says.

"If we're thinking the same thing, which we are, I think we do," She replies with a small smile. She loved the way that they could read each others minds without her having to use her powers. They were just that in sync.

"Get some sleep, you look exhausted,"

"i am," She says nodding. She tried to make it a joke but the yawn that happened shortly after ruined the effect. "Thank you for noticing,"  Sam chuckles at her words.

"Sleep, we'll be fine," Marley listens to Sam and closes her eyes eventually falling asleep. Sam looks down at her takeing in her features for the millionth time in his life. "Your mama is so pretty when she's sleeping you know that?" He says looking down at the baby in his arms. He smiles when he sees the little girl staring up at him with big eyes. "Of course you don't. I guess you'll just have to take my word for it," Sam sat for hours spending time with his now two favorite girls. Head either talk to the one in his arms or watch the one sleeping. A soft Nick awoke him from his trance. Sam woke up to see Nat and Tony in the door way. "Hey," he says softly some what caught off guard. "How are you guys here already?"

"Tony has a private jet," Nat says with a shrug. "How is she?" She asks walking into the room.

"Sleeping, something she hasn't been doing a lot of so..."

"Yeah, yeah, I won't freak out over the baby," Nat says with an eye roll.

"Where's Pep?"

"With Morgan the hotel, didn't want to crowd the room with an energetic five year-old," Tony says also walking into the room. "Did you two decide on a name yet?"

"We did actually," Sam says standing up and walking towards the duo. "Guys meet Riley Niccola, the newest addition to the Wilson family,"

A/N: I know I said this chapter was going to be longer... but that line was just the perfect ending. I tried to add in some filler details to make it a little bit longer but I couldn't really find any spots.

Also, this baby stuff is benefiting me because i just learned that a baby starts hearing things when you're about 18 weeks pregnant... I didn't know it started hearing things in the whomb :) now I feel stupid.

Any way, even with this intensive so far, I'm still finding time to write So that's good :) more updates coming soon ~M
