Yena’s joke actually making Yuri a bit shaken as she thought she got angry at her,
She kept promising the girl that she was just joking and there was nothing to be mad with, she did give her the permission to her bag and the least she could do was smell it,
Yena’s Nintendo switch could’ve been stolen by her but she chose to fiddle with her keychain while sniffing the top of her bag,
It did look weird but Yena liked it since it was Yuri, she looked like a hamster looking for food when she saw her as soon as she came out of the door.
That happening produced a much more quieter and stuffy feeling ride back to the city,
Yena didn’t even know where Yuri lives and they’re about to reach the city’s boundaries,
She’s filling her brave meter up so she could ask her where to go before they even get lost,
She’s just passing through the main roads so even if they get lost, they’ll be able to find familiar places.
“Just ask her, you’re the one driving am I right Choi Yena?”
Talking to herself as she kept looking at her side mirror to see Yuri just looking at their surroundings, she looks effortlessly pretty for Yena’s eyes,
She had that longing look in her eyes as the lights from the shops near the sidewalk produced a more dewy look accentuating Yuri’s face,
Her features looking more sharp and it made Yena feel more guilty for the joke gone wrong that happened earlier,
She didn’t know that Yuri would receive it in the exact opposite way of how she wanted it to be and that’s making her feel bad,
The least she wants to do now is to make sure she gets home safely.
“Yuri-yah wh-“
Her words backing up back to her vocal chords she Yena felt Yuri’s hand hold on to her tighter,
She didn’t know if she intended to do that to catch her off guard or something made her feel a little uncomfortable,
Yuri has been keeping a loose hold onto her since they went off of school so Yena didn’t know what it meant or did it really mean something?
“Unnie you know the huge café with a book shop inside it?”
Hearing Yuri’s voice through the subtle ringing sound her scooter’s engine makes,
Yena looked at her mirror to see Yuri looking right at it too, she looked so serious and it did made Yena feel intimidated.
“Yes?”
“I live near there, do you know how to get there?”
“Oh, of course we’ll take a left two streets back from Garuso-gil right?”
Taking a glance back to Yuri, she saw how the corner of her lips already had a hard time not going, in times like this her dullness really comes helpful and Yena seems to like it.
“Yup, I’ll point where you need to go when we get there, just call me if you need help”
Yuri said finally with a smile on her face, her eyes shining with the help of the cars passing by them,
Yena likes her more with a smile on her face, she liked seeing her happy but if she’ll have the chance to see intimidating again,
Maybe if it was on a different scenario then she’ll be fine with it.
