Last Timelady In Space

The christmas invasion part one

The Tardis comes out of the vortex in mid air and bounces off one block of flats, a second and a third before avoiding a post office van and finally crashing into a set of waste bins. The Doctor opens the door, still in t-shirt and leather jacket. He stumbles out, finding Mickey and Jackie outside. Grabbing their shoulders to keep himself upright.
"Here we are then, London. Earth. The Solar System. We did it. Jackie. Mickey. Blimey! No, no, no, no, hold on. Wait there. I've got something to say. There was something I had to tell you, something important. What was it? No, hold on, hold on. Hold on, shush, shush, shush, shush. Oh, I know! Merry Christmas!"
The Doctor collapses. Ky sprints out of the Tardis and to her father as Rose walks out timidly.
"What happened? Is he all right?" Rose asks her mother and sort-of boyfriend.
"I don't know, he just keeled over. But who is he? Where's the Doctor?" Mickey asks the girls.
"That's him, right in front of you. That's the Doctor. That's my dad." Ky tells him.
Jackie just looks at her, confused. "What do you mean, that's the Doctor? Doctor who?"
At this remark Kyraiah just chuckles and shakes her head.
"Rose which way am I going, lead the way for me." She asks her best friend as she raises her hand and the Doctor is carefully raised into the air and hovers there, about the three foot off of the ground. Rose smiles at the shocked faces of the other two and leads the way. Leaving Jackie and Mickey trailing after them.

The Doctor has been dressed in some striped pyjamas and put to bed. Jackie comes into the bedroom with a stethoscope.
"Here we go. Tina the cleaner's got this lodger, a medical student, and she was fast asleep, so I just took it. Though I still say we should take him to hospital." She says as she hands Rose the stethoscope. Rose sits on the right side of the bed opposite to Kyraiah, who is holding her dads left hand.
"We can't. They'd lock him up. They'd dissect him. One bottle of his blood could change the future of the human race. No! Shush!"
Rose says as she listens to both sides of the Doctor's chest.
"Both working." She tells Ky with small smile. Kyraiah nods and sighs in relief.
"What do you mean, both?" Jackie asks her daughter.
"Well, we've got two hearts." Ky informs her.
"Oh, don't be stupid." Jackie says in disbelief.
"They have." Rose says.
"Anything else he's got two of?" Jackie asks looking the doctor up and down.
"Gross Jackie, that's my dad." Ky says scrunching her nose up.
Rose just looks at the redhead and laughs. She turns to her mum and tells she. "Leave him alone."
Rose, Ky and Jackie leave. The Doctor exhales some of the Tardis's golden energy, which flies off into space.

The trio go to the kitchen so Rose can investigate the fridge.
"How can he go changing his face? Is that a different face or is he a different person?" Jackie asks the girls. Rose starts to pace the room and tears up.
"How should I know? Sorry. The thing is I thought I knew him, Mum. I thought me and him were. And then he goes and does this. I keep forgetting he's not human. The big question is where'd you get a pair of men's pyjamas from?" Rose tells her mum. Her little speech upsets the redhead a little. He may look different, he may act a little different but deep down he's still the same man.

"Rose you do know him, he's still the Doctor, he's still my dad. And he didn't do it to hurt you." Ky says walking away from Rose.
Rose looks at her friend. She didn't realise how much her words would hurt her, she goes to reach for her friend but Kyraiah just shoves her off and goes back to her dad.

She sits by her dads side, holding his hand. After a while she hears the front door open and shut, indicating someone left. Zoning out, as she often did when she was thinking or reminiscing, she just sits there. All the times with the other Doctor, all the memories, go wizzing through her mind and she smiles. Silent tears start falling from her eyes. She would miss that version of her dad, the man that became her dad, but she still had her dad and that was the main thing. Her emotions heightened, she didn't realise she was projecting these memories to him, all from her perspective, allowing him to see all her happy memories with him. Even though unconscious, he could feel everything and his mind smiled and his hearts warmed, especially when the last memory for him to see was of the new him hugging her for dear life.
