Outside the Tyler's house, Ky uses as much force as she could to push all the Cybermen back just as the Doctor points the recharging Tardis power cell at the Cybermen, who get bent backwards whilst skidding roughly across the grass, then atomised by the golden energy.
"What the hell was that?" Ricky asks.
"Well have that instead. Run!" The Doctor shouts ignoring the question for now. Mrs Moore sounds the van's horn.
"Everybody, in!"
"I've got to go back. My wife's in there." Pete says as he begins too turn.
"Anyone inside that house is dead. If you want to help, then don't let her die for nothing. You've got to come with us right now." The Doctor says. On her way past him, Ky shoves him for being rude as she vaults herself into the van, yet again beating everyone.
"Come on! Get a move on!" Mrs Moore shouts.
"Rose, she's not your mother." The Doctor says to Rose just outside of the van when Rose looks backwards.
"I know."
"Come on."
"Finished chatting? Never seen a slower getaway in my life!" The older blonde lady says as they drive off. More legions of Cybermen are on the move.

In the van, Ricky asks, "What was that thing? And how did they get pushed back."
"Little bit of technology from mine and my daughters home. And my daughter, she's got special abilities."
"It's stopped glowing. Has it run out?" Mickey asks.
"Oh. It's on a revitalising loop. It'll charge back up in about four hours I think." Ky says peering to device in her dads hand.
"Right. So, we don't have a weapon anymore." Ricky spits out.
"Oh come on, bonehead. You have at least one weapon. You have me, it's what I was trained to do. I am the Weapon or the Protector, but
as a friend once told me, they are the same thing depending on what side you look from." Ky said looking at him in the eye.
"Yeah, great one little girl against an army of metal men. But the weapons we've got might not be useful on one of those metal things, but they're good enough for men like him." Jake says looking at Pete.
"Leave him alone. What's he done wrong?" Rose asks the male.
"Oh, you know, just laid a trap that's wiped out the Government and left Lumic in charge." He tells her.
"If I was part of all that, do you think I'd leave my wife inside?" Pete asks him.
"Maybe your plan went wrong. Still gives us the right to execute you, though." Ricky tells him.
"Talk about executions, you'll make me your enemy. And take some really good advice. You don't want to do that." The Doctor tells Ricky. He realises even though he looked just like Mickey, they were polar opposites.
"All the same, we have evidence that says Pete Tyler's been working for Lumic since twenty point five." He tells the Timelord in retaliation.
"Is that true?" Rose asks the parallel version of her dad.
"Tell them, Mrs M."
"We've got a government mole who feeds us information. Lumic's private files, his South American operations, the lot. Secret broadcasts twice a week." The woman tells him from behind the wheel.
"Broadcast from Gemini?" Pete asks them.
"And how do you know that?"  Ricky asks him.
"I'm Gemini. That's me." Pete announces.
"Yeah, well you would say that." The man fires back. He did not want to believe that Pete Tyler was Gemini but Petes next words cemented the fact he was Gemini. "Encrypted wavelength six five seven using binary nine. That's the only reason I was working for Lumic. To get information. I thought I was broadcasting to the Security Services. What do I get? Scooby Doo and his gang. They've even got the van."
"No, no, no. But the Preachers know what they're doing. Ricky said he's London's Most Wanted." Mickey told them, truly believing in the preachers.
"Yeah, that's not exactly..." Ricky starts.
"Not exactly what?" Ky asks him, narrowing her eyes.
"...I'm London's Most Wanted for parking tickets." Ricky tells them slightly embarrassed.
"Great." Was all Pete could say.
"Yeah, they were deliberate. I was fighting the system. Park anywhere, that's me." Ricky said, defending himself.
"Good policy. I do much the same. I'm the Doctor, I'm Kyraiahs dad, by the way, if anyone's interested." The Doctor said. The three preachers realised that this was the man Mickey was on about, and decided to keep what they did at the base to themselves. The two males noticing the way he grabbed her when they appeared in the garden, he was fiercely protective of the young looking girl.
"And I'm Rose. I'm her best friend. Hello." The young blonde said with a little wave.
"Even better. That's the name of my dog. Still, at least I've got the catering staff on my side." Pete said after the introductions had been done. After hearing what he said, Ky had to turn her face into her fathers shoulder to wriggle the giggle that was bubbling up inside.
"I knew you weren't a traitor." Rose told him.
"Why is that, then?" He asked her.
"I just did." Was all she could say.
"They took my wife."
"She might still be alive." Rose told him, trying to have a little hope.
"That's even worse. Because that's what Lumic does. He takes the living and he turns them into those machines." He said sadly.
"Cybermen. They're called Cybermen..." Both Timelords said.
"...And I'd take those ear pods off, if I were you. You never know. Lumic could be listening." The Doctor finishes.
The Doctor zaps the ear pods with his sonic screwdriver. The two male preachers saw the device and realised it was very similar to Kyraiahs and guessed it was the same sort of device.
"But he's overreached himself. He's still just a businessman. He's assassinated the President. All we need to do is get to the city and inform the authorities. Because I promise you, this ends tonight." The Doctor declared.
