The Tardis materialises in a very tight space. All three exit and look around.

"I don't know what's wrong, though. She's sort of queasy. Indigestion, like she didn't want to land." The Doctor says as he strokes the side of the blue box.

"Oh, if you think there's going to be trouble, we could always get back inside and go somewhere else." Rose says trying to keep a straight face whilst looking at the other two. This makes all three laugh.

"Oh as if." Ky says after she sobers up.

"I think we've landed inside a cupboard. Here we go." The Timelord as he exits the small room with both girls. After turning a corner they come to a door which opens when the computer tells it to. "Open door 15."

"Some sort of base.  A moon base, sea base, or space base. They build these things out of kits." The Doctor started rattling on. "Close door 15."

"Glad we're indoors. sounds like a storm out there." Rose mutters, listening to the noise coming from outside the walls. "Open door 16."

Whilst walking frown a corridor, the Doctor starts on again about the base, "Human design. You've got a thing about kits. This place was put together like a flat-pack wardrobe, only bigger. And easier."

The three travellers step down into an area with tables and chairs. There is a big 3 on the wall. "Open door 17."

"Oh, it's a sanctuary base, got to love a sanctuary base, right dad?" Ky said jokingly looking at her father. The look he gave her was one of many mixed emotions, slight amusement and both agreement and disagreement.

"Close door 17."

"Deep Space exploration. We've gone way out. And listen to that, underneath. Someone's drilling." The Doctor said looking around. Both Rose and Kyraiah turned to the back wall and saw something else.

"Welcome to hell." Rose said, staring at the wall.

"Oh, it's not that bad." The male timelord said not seeing what the girls were seeing.

"No dad, over there." Ky said making her father look at where she and rose were looking. The words are painted on the wall in big block letters, with a vertical alien script underneath them.

"Hold on, what does that say? That's weird, it won't translate." The Doctor said as he went to examine the scripture painted on the wall. Everything about it deeply concerned him, and yet all of it intrigued him. "But I thought the Tardis translated everything, writing as well. We should see English." the blonde woman questioningly asked. He had told her that when they first went on an adventure, the Tardis could translate all spoken and written languages to English for people to easily read.

"Exactly. If that's not working, then it means this writing is old. Very old. Impossibly old. We should find out who's in charge." The male timelord said, very quickly getting worried about the situation they had gotten themselves in. The worry could be seen plain as day on his face for his daughter to see. In an attempt to lighten the sullen mood, that was quickly striking all three of them, Ky said jokingly, "Wait if you don't know the language dad, it must be old." The joke, made at the Doctor's expense mine due, did crack a smile off of the other two, which fell nearly as quickly as it had come. As they reached the next door, the Doctor grasped hold of the wheel on the door and began to spin it to open it. Whilst opening the door he stated to the girls, "We've gone beyond the reach of the Tardis' knowledge. Not a good move. And if someone's lucky enough..."

"Open door 19."

As the door opened, the three-time travellers came face to face with aliens with tentacles where their noses and mouths should be. Each alien had a tube going in behind the tentacles, carrying a white globe in their right hand. "Oh! Right. Hello. Sorry. I was just saying, er, nice base." The Doctor said to them, slightly worried as to whether they were hostile.
