Both timelords bolt it through the corridors never slowing until they get to door 16.

"Open door 15. Door 16 out of commission."

"It can't be. It can't be!" The desperate Doctor said, if he hadn't found Ky and he'd come here without ever finding or meeting her, he'd have nothing left of his home. It was small things like that, that made him appreciate finding her more than ever. And as for Ky, without that Tardis, she would most likely still be stuck in that museum, not only that but all her memories were in there, all of Jack's stuff too. "No, no, not this, no." She sadly muttered, a few tears rolling down her pale cheeks.

"What's wrong? What is it? Doctor, Raiah, the Tardis is in there. What's happened?" Rose says from behind the duo, Ky steps aside so the blonde could have a look.

"The Tardis is gone." The Doctor says to her, as he looked at his daughter, he saw her distraught look and the tearstained cheeks and knew she needed one thing right now. So he opened his arms and she fell into them, silent tears still rolling down her cheeks.

"Door 16 out of commission."

"The earthquake. This section collapsed." The Doctor told his human companion, then laid a feather-light kiss on the top of his daughter's head, just hard enough for her to feel, she needed the comfort right now. Not only did it give her comfort it also gave him some too. Because then he knew she was right there and he hadn't lost her too.

"But it's got to be out there somewhere." Rose said with hope lacing her voice. It couldn't be gone. It just couldn't be. "Look down, Rosie," Ky said sniffling as she lifted her face off her father's chest, leaving behind a small damp patch from her tears. All three solemnly made their way back to the control room.

Once they got back they went straight to Zach, the Doctor telling him. "The ground gave way. Our Tardis must've fallen down right into the heart of the planet. But you've got robot drills heading the same way." "We can't divert the drilling." The captain told them, he could see the desperation in their eyes and he felt for them but he couldn't change the direction of the drills, not even if he wanted to.

"But we need our ship. It's all we've got. Literally the only thing. The last piece of home we have." Ky pleaded, the tears still glistening on her cheeks. Having the captain glance at her wet cheeks, Ky wiped them with the edge of her jumper, no more tears in front of people she didn't know. It was a weakness she couldn't show, not now at least when something here gave her a bad feeling.

"Doctor, Kyraiah, we've only got the resources to drill one central shaft down to the power source, and that's it. No diversions, no distractions, no exceptions. Your machine is lost. All I can do is offer you a lift if we ever get to leave this place, and that is the end of it." Zach said matter-of-factly, even though he didn't get why they were so upset, he did feel for them they were stuck now. "I'll er, put you on the duty roster. We need someone in the laundry." Ida timidly said, she too felt sorry for the trio, they had lost their belongings and the ship meant a great deal to them, especially to the young redhead. It did break her heart seeing them like this, but what could she do? The Doctor, Ky and Rose are left alone, except for an Ood, as Ida went to sort out the roster and Zach went off to do something, anything so he could rid himself of the guilt he got just looking at the redhead. The Doctor and Ky walk back over to Rose at the railing, where she had stayed to let them argue with the captain.

"I've trapped you here." The Doctor said to Rose, he may have said this to just the blonde but he also meant it to his daughter. But she was tucked into his side, trying to ease the worry and sadness whirling in her. she had to so she didn't cause any problems. "No, don't worry about me." The blonde said, sparing a glance at her distraught best friend, she didn't make it obvious because she knew Raiah didn't like it when people fussed over her in public, except for her father of course, but she couldn't help it. Just as she had looked back to the Doctor the base began to shake, making Rose jokingly change her mind. "Okay, we're on a planet that shouldn't exist, under a black hole and no way out. Yeah, I've changed my mind. Start worrying about me."
