She ends up back in the bedroom but when she looks around it's not a little girl's room. It is a big, plush, split level room.
"Reinette? Are you here. I'm just checking you're okay." The redhead says looking for the little girl. She walks up to a harp and plays a few notes. Her dad has been teaching her some music on some instruments, but the harp was one she taught herself back home.
"Ahem." A voice says from behind her.
"Oh. Hello. Er, I was just looking for Reinette. This is still her room, isn't it? I've been away, not sure how long." Ky says looking at the fully grown woman.
"Reinette! We're ready to go." A voice shouts.
"Go to the carriage, Mother. I will join you there. It is customary, I think, to have an imaginary friend only during one's childhood. You are to be congratulated on your persistence." The now grown Reinette says looking at the redhead. Kys eyes go wide.
"Reinette! Well. Goodness, how you've grown into such a beautiful young woman" Ky tells her
"And you do not appear to have aged a single day. That is tremendously impolite of you." She says poking the girl in the chest.
"Right, yes, sorry. Listen, lovely to catch up, but better be off, eh? Don't want your mother finding you up here with a strange lady, do we?" Ky says not sure exactly what to do.
"Strange? How could you be a stranger to me? I've known you since I was seven years old." Reinette says looking at Ky in the eyes.
"Yeah, I suppose you have. I came the quick route."
"You seem to be flesh and blood, at any rate, but this is absurd. Reason tells me you cannot be real." Reinette says poking her again.
"Oh, you never want to listen to reason, where's the fun in that." Ky replies.
"Mademoiselle! Your mother grows impatient." A male voice shouts.
"A moment! So many questions. So little time." Reinette mumbles as she grabs Ky. Reinette kisses her, pushing her up against the wall. She joins in, deepening it slightly. Well Kyraiah can safely say she's attracted to both genders, she's always had a feeling but this just proves it.
"Mademoiselle Poisson!" The male shouts again and Reinette let's go of Ky and runs out. The servant enters.
"Poisson? Reinette Poisson? No! No, no, no, no, no way. Reinette Poisson? Later Madame Etoiles? Later still mistress of Louis the Fifteenth, uncrowned Queen of France? Actress, artist, musician, dancer, courtesan, fantastic gardener! Oh my god, my dad will not believe this." Kyraiah says giddily, walking back to the fireplace.
"Who the hell are you?!" A servant shouts.
"I'm Kyraiah, and I just snogged Madame de Pompadour. Ha, ha! Brilliant!" She says as she flips the switch and the fireplace turns again.

"Dad! Rose! Mickey! Every time." She says she enters the ship. "Every time, it's rule one. Don't wander off. He tells them, He does. So I did the same. Rule one. There could be anything on this ship. Then again he is with them they should be fine. Oh who am I kidding this is my dad. He can get into trouble anywhere." Ky rants to herself as she walks around a corner and sees a white horse with bridle and saddle.
"Dad? Rose? Mickey?" She says as continues on then turns to the horse, which is walking behind her.
"Will you stop following me? I'm not your mother." Kyraiah says to it, stroking its nose lightly. She turns again and sees a pair of white wooden doors and opens them, bright light floods in.
"So this is where you came from, eh, horsey? No that's not your name I'm going to call you Arthur."  She says to the horse.

In the Versailles gardens, Reinette is walking and laughing with a dark skinned woman. Ky ducks behind a wall urn and watches on.
"Oh, Catherine, you are too wicked."
"Oh, speaking of wicked, I hear Madame de Chateauroux is ill and close to death."
"Yes. I am devastated."
"Oh, indeed. I myself am frequently inconsolable. The King will therefore be requiring a new mistress. You love the King, of course?"
"He is the King, and I love him with all my heart. And I look forward to meeting him."
A peacock calls and Reinette turns around. So Ky hides. The women continue to walk.
"Is something wrong, my dear?"
"Not wrong, no."
"Every woman in Paris knows your ambitions."
"Every woman in Paris shares them."
"You know of course that the King is to attend the Yew Tree ball?"
"As am I."
With this Ky goes back the way she came, looking for the other three.

When she finds them she over hears the talking.
"Is this like normal for you three? Is this an average day?" Mickey asks.
"Life with the Doctor and Raiah, Mickey? No more average days." Rose says and the Doctor chimes in with.
"Average days are boring Mickey, this is much more fun."
They stop by a large window.
"It's France again. We can see France." Mickey says to them. Ky slowly walks up behind them, the horse still following her.
"I think we're looking through a mirror." Rose says.
"I do believe you are right Rose." The Doctor says.
Louis enters the room beyond, with two men.
"Blimey, look at this guy. Who does he think he is?" Mickey says "The King of France." Both Timelords say making the other three jump when they heard her voice.
"Oh, here's trouble. What you been up to?" Rose asks her best friend who smirks.
"Oh, this and that. Became the imaginary friend of a future French aristocrat, then snogged her, picked a fight with a clockwork man..." Neigh "...Oh, and I met a horse."
"What's a horse doing on a spaceship?" Mickey says looking at it.
"Mickey, what's pre-Revolutionary France doing on a spaceship? Get a little perspective. See these? They're all over the place. On every deck. Gateways to history. But not just any old history." The Doctor says, still a little stunned by his daughters second confession. She said it like it happens all the time. If she liked females it wouldn't bother him really, it was just the easy she said it.
Reinette enters the room and curtseys to the King.
"Hers. Time windows deliberately arranged along the life of one particular woman. A spaceship from the fifty first century is stalking a woman from the eighteenth. Why?" Ky says staring at the woman, trying to figure it out. Her brows furrow when she can't.
"Who is she?" Rose asks her.
"Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, known to her friends as Reinette. One of the most accomplished women who ever lived." Ky told her.
"So has she got plans of being the Queen, then?" Rose asks.
"No, he's already got a Queen. She's got plans of being his mistress." The Doctor tells the humans.
"Oh, I get it. Camilla."
"I think this is the night they met. The night of the Yew Tree ball. In no time at flat, she'll get herself established as his official mistress, with her own rooms at the palace. Even her own title. Madame de Pompadour." Ky says to them.
"You snogged Madame de Pompadour!" The Doctor exclaims.
The King and his servants leave. Reinette checks her appearance in the mirror/window.
"The Queen must have loved her." Rose jokes.
"Oh, she did. They get on very well." Ky tells her friend.
"The King's wife and the King's girlfriend?" Mickey asks.
"France. It's a different planet." Both Timelords reply.

Reinette turns to see a figure with her back to her in the corner.
"How long have you been standing there? Show yourself!" She shouts.
It's the clockwork android. Kyaiah grabs a fire extinguisher from Mickey and rotates the mirror.
"Hello, Reinette. Hasn't time flown." Ky says as she steps through.
"Fireplace Lady!" She shouts at Ky.
Ky sprays the android and throws the extinguisher back to Mickey. The android creaks.
"What's it doing?" Mickey asks as the other three step through.
"Switching back on. Melting the ice." The Doctor says getting closer to his daughter.
"And then what?" Mickey says.
"Then it kills everyone in the room. Focuses the mind, doesn't it? Who are you? Identify yourself. Reinette sweetie, be a dear and order it to answer me." Ky says.
"Why should it listen to me?" The woman asks her.
"I don't know. But it did when you were a child. Let's see if you've still got it." Ky says back to her.
"Answer her question. Answer any and all questions put to you." The woman orders the droid.
"I am repair droid seven." It says.
"What happened to the ship, then? There was a lot of damage." The Doctor asked it.
"Ion storm. Eighty two percent systems failure." It responded.
"That ship hasn't moved in over a year. What's taken you so long?" The Doctor asks it.
"We did not have the parts."
"Always comes down to that, doesn't it? The parts." Mickey says.
"What's happened to the crew? Where are they?" Ky asked it and instantly regretted it.
"We did not have the parts."
"There should have been over fifty people on your ship. Where did they go?" The Doctor asked.
"We did not have the parts."
"Fifty people don't just disappear. Where..." He said and then it clicked. "...Oh. You didn't have the parts, so you used the crew."
"That's just so wrong." Ky said scrunching up her face.
"The crew?"
"Doctor when you walked off in a different direction before we met up again, we found a camera with an eye in it, and there was a heart wired in to machinery." Rose said.
"It was just doing what it was programmed to. Repairing the ship any way it can, with whatever it could find. No one told it the crew weren't on the menu. What did you say the flight deck smelt of?" The Doctor said.
"Someone cooking." Rose said turning her nose up slightly.

(A/n I decided when I was planning this chapter that I wanted Reinette to kiss Ky. I've read quite a few fanfics and this never really happens so I decided to make it. I'm bi and wanted a bit of bi pride in here. If it makes you uncomfortable you can pretend it never happened or stop reading because I plan on making Ky attracted to both men and women and exploring it more as time goes on. Sorry not sorry)
