"Hope, harmony and health. Hope, harmony and health." Comes over a tannoy as The Doctor brings three cups of water. He gives one to Ky, keeps one for himself and the last to Novice Hame.
"That's very kind. There's no need." The nurse tells him.
"You're the one working." The Doctor tells her.
"There's not much to do, just maintain his smoke. And I suppose I'm company. I can hear him singing, sometimes, in my mind. Such ancient songs." She tells him, a little sad.
"Are we the only visitors?" Ky asks her, hoping just a little that he hasn't been alone for all this time.
"The rest of Boe-kind became extinct long ago. He's the only one left. Legend says that the Face of Boe has watched the universe grow old. There's all sorts of superstitions around him. One story says that just before his death, the Face of Boe will impart his great secret, that he will speak those words only to the two like himself." She says to the pair. That just make Kyraiah tear up again, he's been alone all this time?
"What does that mean?" The Doctor asks her. He looks to his daughter, who sat crossed legged by the tank leaning her head on it, nearly crying. He wonders what could make her feel this way. He knew she was very empathetic and felt strongly about things some times, so in the end he just guessed that it was the fact that he was all alone, she new how that felt, and he was dying.
"It's just a story." The cat said to him pulling his attention away from his daughter and back to the nurse.
"Tell me the rest." The Doctor says softly.
"It's said he'll talk to two wanderers. To the man and woman without a home. The lonely God and his Protector. " the nurse tells him. Both Timelords look at her, then at the Face of Boe and lastly each other.

The Doctor finds a phone to ring Rose, whilst his daughter slowly makes her way over to him.
"Where've you been? How long does it take to get to Ward 26?" He says down the phone.
"I'm on my way, governor." A voice that sounds like Rose, but also doesn't says.
"I shall proceed up the apples and pears." It says again. That really doesn't sound like Rose, Kyraiah thought to herself.
"You'll never guess. I'm with the Face of Boe." The Doctor says to her barely registering that she sounds odd. "Remember him?" He asks her.
"Of course I do. That big old boat race."
"I'd better go. See you in a minute." The Doctor tells her spotting something.
He grabs Kyraiahs hand and walks away from the phone and toward the Duke of Manhattan. The Duke of Manhattan is very happy.
"Didn't think I was going to make it. It's that man and woman again! They're my good luck charms. Come in. Don't be shy." The Duke tells them.
"Any friendship expressed by the Duke of Manhattan does not constitute a form of legal contract." The annoying assistant says.
"Winch me up. Up! Look at me. No sign of infection." The Duke cheerily says.
"Champagne, sir? Miss?" A butler says coming out of nowhere.
"No, thanks. She won't either, thanks. You had Petrifold Regression, right?" The Doctor asks the cheery fat man.
"That being the operative word. Past tense. Completely cured." He tells them.
"Can't be. But that's impossible." Ky says bewildered. How did they do this, what have those cats done.
"Primitive species would accuse us of magic, but it's merely the tender application of science." A completely different cat from before says.
"How on Earth did you cure him?" The Timelord asks and the Timelady nods her head and points at him, signaling she was thinking the same thing.
"How on New Earth, you might say." The cat jokes.
"What's in that solution?" Ky asks her curiously.
"A simple remedy."
"Then tell us what it is." The Doctor says.
"I'm sorry. Patient confidentiality. I don't believe we've met. My name is Matron Casp."
"I'm the Doctor. And that's my daughter, Kyraiah."
"I think you'll find that we're the doctors here." Ky just scoffs at this.
"Matron Casp, you're needed in Intensive Care." Jatt says coming up behind them.
"If you would excuse me." Casp and Jatt walk away.
"Ambient temperature stands at fourteen degrees. This temperature is designed to promote healing and well-being." The tannoy announces.
The Doctor is going round, his daughter following him looking around intently, all the cubicles looking at the fluid bags filled with colourful medicines.
The Doctor sees, who he thinks is, Rose and grabs her arm lightly. Ky a bit more cautious around her.
