"The Rightful Heir."

"You must rest, your grace." A girl no older than six and ten of the moons, made her way towards a beautiful long silver haired woman who tried her best to sit up from a white satin couch.

Queen Aemma smiled softly at the girl, finding her company warm and refreshing. She feared of being alone with her condition, even though many of her maids attended to the babe in her belly.

"Oh sweet Elaina, you should not worry for me. I am a woman grown." The queen replied, laying a comforting hand on Elaina's cheek.

Instinctively Elaina leaned into her hand, missing the affection of a mother she once lost. Aemma sent the brunette a sad smile, knowing the young girl needed the love from a mother.

"Rhaenyra would have my head if I left you alone with all these people who only care about the babe, My Queen." Elaina said sheepishly, taking Aemma's hand with a gentle motion to hold.

"Speaking of my daughter, do you happen to know where she is?" Queen Aemma questioned her daughter's whereabouts, even though she knew exactly where she is.

A sense of confirmation of her suspicions would suffice the growing worry within her heart.

"The princess is around, I assure you, your grace. My sister Alicent is always with her." Elaina replies with a smile as she thought about the two young girls who were only but a year younger than her.

"Yes, it always seem so." A teasing look in Aemma's eyes had caused Elaina to chuckle at her words knowing the true meaning behind it.

"I would not mind if the princess had become my sister." Elaina said softly, hoping the maids did not hear them and only thought of their words to be jesting.

"Time will only tell, dear." Queen Aemma said with a smile, agreeing with Elaina's words.

The doors suddenly opened, as two figures emerged from within. The princess and Alicent were revealed smiling at Elaina and Queen Aemma.

"Ah... Rhaenyra." The queen happily greeted her firstborn and only child.

"Princess, sister." Elaina greeted the two younger girls with an equally bright smile as the queen.

"You know I don't like you to go flying while I'm in this condition." Aemma said, huffing slightly as her breath became a bit more shallow.
