"Let us fly away, and eat cake."

Elaina read a small black book in her hands, laying against the birch tree as Alicent sat next to her with Rhaenyra laying down with her head on Alicent's leg. Sharing a much larger book similar to hers, on Alicent's other leg.
"Did you read it?" Alicent asked the silver-haired princess, pointing at the book in their hands. Rhaenyra rolled her eyes playfully at her best friend.
"Of course, I read it," Rhaenyra replied.
"When Princess Nymeria arrived in Dorne, who did she take to husband?" Alicent quizzed the princess, in hopes that she had caught up in her lessons.
"A man" Elaina whispered to herself before hearing Rhaenyra voice the same answer louder. Causing her to laugh, then turning the next page of her book.
"What was his name?" Alicent pushed for an answer while rolling her eyes at Rhaenyra and Elaina's actions.
"Lord something." Rhaenyra continued on, not really caring about her ancestors' histories.
"If you answered with 'Lord Something,' Septa Marlow will be furious," Alicent said reminding Rhaenyra of the old hag that would constantly scold the girls about a simple wrong answer.
Elaina remembered hating every moment she spent in her lessons as Septa Marlow was teaching her, she was glad she was done with her lessons and her father had her attend meetings with him in hopes she to can become the hand for the next king or get married off to some lord who craves power as much as Otto.
"She's funny when she's furious," Rhaenyra said solemnly, although her tone sounded like a joke, her expression remained unhappy.
The Hightower sisters glanced at one another, knowing that something is going on with their friend.
"What's wrong, Rhaenyra, you're always like this when you're worried," Elaina said, sitting up from her position and crawling toward her sisters. Bringing Rhaenyra to her left side, and Alicent to her right. Hugging both girls close to her.
"Like what?" Rhaenyra replied, slowly melting into Elaina's hug.
"Disagreeable," Elaina answered, giving a look she knew all too well.
"You're worried your father is about to overshadow you with a son," Elaina said, exposing Rhaenyra to her true feelings.
The princess sighed in defeat, knowing she cannot hide how she feels when Elaina is around. With her best, she tries to cover it up by making excuses in hopes she does not face her true fears.
