"I will stand with you between the heavens and the earth..."
•Aegon chuckles at Cregan, laughing at how the dire wolves jumped onto the man and greeted him with licks on his face.
Since Aegon had arrived in the North, there was never a dull moment. Almost forgot why he was there in the first place.
His aunt Alicent was ready to give birth at any moment to a niece or nephew, and Aegon could not wait for a new family member to be added.
"Alright, alright. Go on and play," Cregan chuckled as he managed to finally get the wolves off of him.
Alicent smiled at the two, rubbing her stomach out of habit. Oh was she ready to give birth to her baby, finally be able to love her child.
Alicent wanted a family the way her sister did, seeing how well she raised not only her but her children as well.
Oh, she could not wait to see Elaina and show her sister how grateful she was to have gotten where she is today.
Lucien's laugh boomed throughout the field, watching the wolves prance around the Prince and his cousin as he hugged his wife from behind.
"Wait till my mother hears that you have managed to tame dire wolves--"
The cold winter wind cut Aegon off as the speed picked up, and snow began to swirl harshly around them. Aegon furrowed his brows in confusion before realizing the reason why, while the Starks looked around them in caution.
A roar rang loudly throughout the sky, a large shadow cast before them. The group looked up to see Vhaegar roaring booming through their ears. Cregan and Lucien covered their ears, not being used to the sounds of a dragon's roar.
The wolves growled at the beast in the sky before running off into the woods.
Alicent and Aegon glanced at one another in confusion, as they sent one another a silent question before looking back at Vhaegar who landed a bit away from them.
Aegon hopped on his horse, ready to ride toward the dragon. He waited till Cregan hopped on his, before bringing his attention to his aunt and uncle questioning if they were coming as well.
"We'll meet you both back at the castle, I'm sure your brother brings news of Daeron," Alicent answered, smiling toward her nephew as she waved them goodbye.
With that, Cregan and Aegon race toward the restless dragon causing the duo to glance at one another in worry.
Vhaegar was never the one to be restless unless Aemond was in distress, with that thought Aegon's worry turned worse as he pushed the horse to ride faster. Cregan followed behind closely, as he too worried about what was to come.
