"She's queen now, Laena!"
Two loud but excited voices burst through her door, and familiar faces came into her guest room with bright smiles.
Aegon and Helaena looked at the other silver-haired duo in front of them confused, watching as their mother laughed at them happily and waddled toward them.
"My favorite Velaryons, oh how I've missed you both!" Elaina said, bringing Laena and Laenor into her arms. The trio hugged one another tightly, as best as they could with Elaina's growing belly.
"We did not see you when the King and Princess arrived, and you are with child again!" Laena rambled, causing Elaina to chuckle at her.
"Sister, let her breathe!" Laenor said, reminding his sister not to overwhelm the pregnant queen.
"Right, sorry!" Laena said shyly, before smiling once again at Elaina.
Elaina smiled at the two before holding onto their heads lovingly, and then guiding them toward her watchful children.
"Laena, Laenor, meet Prince Aegon and Princess Helaena," Elaina introduced, then moved toward Helaena to bring her into her arms. Aegon approached the Velaryon siblings carefully, standing close to his mother.
"Hello there, I'm your big sister Laena!" Laena greeted, causing Laenor to shake his head at her words.
Elaina smiled softly at her, before nodding her head toward them to let Aegon know that they are considered his siblings.
Aegon smiled happily before slapping Laenor's cheeks in greeting the Velaryon boy. The group laughed loudly at his actions, finding it weird but cute.
"My, the princess is just as beautiful as her mother," Laenor said, looking at young Helaena with a small smile.
"Yes, she gets all her looks from me, but her hair and eyes," Elaina said, kissing Helaena's chubby cheeks.
"Yes, but she's named after such an honorable woman!" Laena said, smirking at the two. Elaina laughed at her confidence but nodded her head in agreement.
"Your next babe should be named after me, it's not fair that Laena gets a babe named after her!" Laenor complained jokingly, pouting like a child.
