Chapter Five :]

[Y/N POV]

"Y/n? Do you wanna go to the shop to get snacks so we can have a movie night?" Tommy asks me. I nod excitedly, causing him to laugh and I get off him, allowing him to get up. He smiles at my excitement and grabs our skateboards out of his wardrobe. He hands me mine and we head downstairs.

Me and Tommy have been skating since we were 9, so safe to say 9 almost 10 years of experience. I step one foot on the board, waiting for Tommy. He comes out and places his down and we both push off, down the street to the corner shop nearby.

When we get there we pick up our skateboards and walk in, i immediately run to the chocolate aisle, causing Tommy to laugh and follow me. I had an addiction to chocolate so I took 3 huge bars and a few small ones. Tommy took a whole pack of coke and we went to pay. Despite my disagreeing, Tommy paid for it all. Causing me to give him dirty looks for awhile after.

"What are you looking at me like that for?" Tommy says, scrunching up his nose at me. "dont be bitchy to me toms," I say, sarcastically. "i'm the one being bitchy? fuck off y/n," He scoffs and rolls his eyes, pushing off on his board with all our stuff in a bag in his hand.

We make it back to his and we walk inside. I was quite cold because I wasn't wearing anything else other than my bra under the hoodie, and the cool summer air was rather sharp. We head upstairs and Tommy turns on the laptop, setting up the movie 'Moana'. He's been going on about it for weeks and I just gave in to his shit. I sit beside him in the bed and he gives me my chocolate. He pulls me in between his legs again, he must have got comfy the last time. I smile at him and he starts the movie, both of us having our eyes glued to the screen.

I had already seen Moana, but Tommy hadn't so I was watching it for him really. I take a bite of my chocolate bar and offer Tommy some, holding the bar near his mouth. He leans forward slightly and takes a bite, humming at how good it was. I nod and lay back on his chest.

"you have a serious addiction to chocolate, y/n. it's quite scary actually," he laughs at me. "shut up!!" i hit his chest lightly and continue eating my chocolate bar. "might need to get that sorted," he jokes. i roll my eyes even though he can't see it. his hand touches my waist lightly and i turn to him.

I scan my eyes over his face, as he does the same, his golden blonde hair fell perfectly on his face, his ocean blue eyes glistened in the sun and his face was just so perfect. I can see how I fell for him.

I snap back into reality and his eyes slowly scan over my face before he too snaps back to reality. I wonder if he liked me too. I smile at him and he smiles back, then both of our attentions turn back to Moana, who was playing on in the background the whole time. Tommy's hands come to my waist again and pull me closer to him. I smile at the thought of him wanting me to be closer to him.

"Y/N!" Tommy's mum calls up the stairs. "Come here honey!". I nod at Tommy and he nods back, letting me go. I skip down the stairs to see Riona. "Yes? Are you okay Riona?" I say, kindly. "Yes i'm fine love," she replies. we talk for a bit before she says something makes me nervous. "but I wanna let you know something okay? You can't tell Tom, right?" She says. "Okay?" I say, quite confused. "He likes you y/n, a whole pile, more than he has ever liked anyone, do you like him too?" She asks me. "yeah, I like him too.." I say, smiling but still in shock from what she said. Riona squeals in excitement and claps her hands.

[Tommy POV]

Y/n was taking awhile so I walk to the top of the stairs. I eavesdrop on my mum and y/n. "-you can't tell Tom okay?" Came my mums voice. "Okay?" Y/n replies, sounding confused. "He likes you y/n, a whole pile, more than he has ever liked anyone, do you like him too?" My mum asks. My heart drops, my mum could have just ruined my best friend and I's relationship. I get anxious but y/n says "yeah, I like him too..". My eyes widen in shock, she what?! Oh my god, I didn't expect that one anyway. I quickly walk back to my room and sit on my bed again, looking normal so y/n wouldn't suspect me at all.

My heart was a pace that definitely was not normal, she admitted that to my mum? And she knows I like her now too! Thoughts race through my head as I stare blankly at the laptop screen.

Y/n opens the door and looks at me, with a soft smile. "Sorry, your mum wanted to talk to me about something," She says, walking over to me again. "It's okay, now come here." I say, demanding her with my arms outstretched. She crawls into them, hugging me tightly. I smile into her neck and she chuckles.

Honestly, I've thought of this girl as my best friend all my life, but now. Now I'm old enough to come to admit to it, I don't want to be her best friend. I want to be more than that to her.
