(Y/N) POV

As I watch the fight from afar I see Rengoku attempt to slice through his neck but Azaka (demons name) stopped the blade, now it's pure strength determining wether Azaka stays alive or dies.

Unfortunately Azaka overpowered Rangoon but shortly after Rengoku makes the whole area erupt in an inferno of flames.

The fight goes on for a bit until Azaka notices the sun and starts to flee after badly unguring Rengoku. Out of pure anger Tanjiro throws his sword at Azaka making him stumble but not stop.

'Bullshit.' I thought before stealthily shifting behind him and swiftly separating Azakas' head from his body.

As I go to take a breath another agonizing pain in sent through my torso, I look down to see fresh blood still oozing out of my body.

I quickly flee the area, I quickly glance over to see Rengoku in a stable condition while I start to make my way with a destination in mind, it's an unpredictable outcome but it's worth a try.

'Tamayo'

Nezuko POV

I start to wake up to see I'm still in Zenitsus' grasp, I look down to see a letter with a bloodstain.

I open it.

As I read through the letter my heart drops.

'I messed up big time. Will she even want me back? Does she want to break up? Does she not love me anymore?' My thoughts were interrupted when Zenitsu starts to wake up.

"N-NEZUKO?!" He said surprised.

'Oh yeah he was unconscious the whole time.' I remembered.

We made our way to the front of the train in hopes to find Tanjiro and the others but we see Rengoku fighting another demon.

Time skip

We ended up going back to the butterfly estate so Rengoku can get treated by Shinobu, right now we all eat dinner together in an awkward silence.

At the table is Kanao and Tanjiro along with me and Zenitsu.

'This is just perfect.' I thought as I take another bite of rice.

A part of me feels guilty for letting Zenitsu kiss me and now we're eating dinner together after (Y/N) left but at the same time I feel relieved SHES not here, if she was here I honestly don't know what I'd do.

'I wonder where she went, I hope she made it there safely though.' I thought as we continue an awkward dinner.

(Y/N) POV

'I wonder if she's with Zenitsu right now. Maybe she decided to move on, I wouldn't be surprised, I wasn't a good enough girlfriend for her. She deserves Zenitsu.' I thought as I weakly walk getting closer and closer to Tamayo.

Since the sun has gone down I was slightly worried about demons, especially in the physical state I'm in.

As I can see the lights from the vibrant city I hear a set of footsteps behind me.

'This is just fucking perfect.'

"A free meal? Well I'll just help myself." The demon said before it lunged strait towards me.

I barely manage to dodge but shortly after the demon swiftly pivoted and kicked me sending me into a tree.

I let myself stay slouched against the tree as I watch the demon laugh in pity.

'I'm tired of fighting.'

"How pitiful, you're the daughter of such a powerful demon. I wonder how powerful you'd be if you became a demon..." he stated.

Even though I was beyond tired no matter what I won't allow myself to become a demon...especially one like my father.

'I would rather die fighting than surrender to become a demon.' I thought as I weakly stood up.

"So are you accepting my offer?" He asks.

"Never...will I follow in my father's footsteps!" I yelled lunging at the demon pulling my blade from the sheath.

He dodged but by now I predicted which way the demon would lean, I swiftly change the direction of my attack decapitating the demon.

"W-what a pity you choose to life such a sad l-life." It muttered before turning to ash.

I feel myself losing balance, I collapse to the ground facing towards the night sky.

'Tamayo' I thought as I catch a glimpse of a flower leaving a pink trail.

Moments later I see her rush over to me holding the upper part of my body with one arm while the other checks my stomach to see where I was bleeding due to my clothing being covered in dried and fresh blood.

"Hey hey, stay awake please." She said as I felt my eyelids getting heavier.

"I'm...sorry for...bothering...you." I manage to say in between gasps of air before losing consciousness.

Tamayo POV

'What the hell happened?! She's in an unstable condition, I need to get her to my house right now.' I thought as I carry her through the city using my demon art to prevent us from standing out like a sore thumb.

'(Y/N)...please just hold on. Please keep fighting.'

We arrived back at my house, I put her in one of the medical beds and immediately started treating her wounds along with examining her body for further injuries.

As I took the upper half of the uniform off I felt my face heat up.

I try to push my blush aside so I can focus on treating her to the best of my ability.

'Wait...why would she come here alone? Did she separate from the others? Are they okay?' I thought as I patch up her torso.

She has some major bruising but no broken bones thankfully.

After I'm done with everything I pull a blanket over her to let her body recover.

'I'm happy your back (Y/N)...but at what cost?'
