Y/n's POV:
My alarm clock goes off the next morning and I snooze it several times. Finally I toss it across my room and it breaks against my closet door. I hear a knock on my door and groan.
"C'mon Miss Frizzle. You need to eat breakfast so you can train better today." Tony says from the outside of my door. I stand up but fall back down onto my bed.

"I can't Stark I'm way too sore from yesterday. Can I have a cheat day?" I shout from the bed. He laughs.
"You just started L/n you haven't earned a cheat day yet." I limp over to the door and open it before sitting at my desk. Tony walks in and points at the door.
"I don't think I allowed you to paint my door." I shrug and take the plate of food from him.
"It looked too bland. Now everyone will know where my room is if they need me." He pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs.

"Well, hurry and eat. You'll be working one on one with Peter today as you both have the same powers." I nod and, as if summoned by his name, Peter walks into the door way of my room.
"Hey Parker." I say, trying to hide my nerves.
"Hi Y/n." Tony looks at us suspiciously and stands. I furrow my eyebrows at him but he doesn't answer.
"Well, have fun. Y/n this afternoon you have chemistry with Banner." I groan and take a drink of orange juice. I stop Tony before he walks out.
"Hey Stark can I get a new clock?" I point at the broken one on the ground and he looks down at his shoes.
"I swear you're gonna be the death of me Frizzle." He whispers before walking out of my room. I laugh and Peter nudges the clock with his shoe.
"I guess you don't like waking up then?" I shake my head.
"There's literally no point to life if you're too tired to enjoy it." I say grimly and Peter grins.
"You should put that on a poster." I chuckle. What a nerd.

I tell him that I need to change and he waits for me outside of my room. I open my closet and pace around. Why am I contemplating this so much? I'm gonna look bad in any outfit because I'm working out. But Peters gonna be there. Why do I care what he thinks?
I finally decide on a black crop top with dark purple leggings and I put my hair in two French braids. I have a sports bra underneath just in case I get hot and need to take off my shirt.

I walk out of my room but Peter isn't there anymore. I look down the hall and the door right next to mine is propped open.
"Peter?" I open the door a little more and I see him shirtless.
"Shit you're changing sorry." I turn around and close my eyes. My cheeks burn but I can't shake the image of his washboard abs.

"This is really a great first impression of me. I'm so sorry." I tell him, fiddling with the ends of my braids.
"It's okay let's both just start over. Turn around." He tells me and I do so.

He's wearing grey sweatpants and a baggy tank top that shows off his arms. He turns around and turns back. He holds out his hand and smiles.
"Hello stranger. I'm Peter Parker." I laugh and turn around like he did.
"It's nice to meet you Mr. Parker I'm Y/n L/n." He shakes my hand and I blush again from his soft hands.
"Please call me Peter. It's a pleasure to meet you." He smiles and one of his brown curls fall upon his forehead. Shit.

"Let's go run shall we?" He seems excited and it makes me smile.
"I hate running."
"I'll make it fun. I promise." He sounds eager.
I'm beginning to feel like it doesn't matter what we do, just as long as I'm with him, I'm okay with it. How hard can it be?

"This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life." I pant and Peter laughs. We've been running for what feels like a lifetime but when I check my phone it's only been two hours. We had gone to the park and Peter was running circles around me the whole time. In the time that I ran one lap, he ran three.

"Can't we be done now?" I ask, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk. Peter slows and looks at me to see if I'm injured. He walks up to me and my already quick breath hitches. He studies my face with kind eyes. Those beautiful eyes linger at my lips and my heart flutters. He hesitates, but takes my hand and puts his fingers on my wrist.

"Well you don't seem dead yet."
I roll my eyes and nudge him in the chest. I've only known him for a few days, but he seems more reckless with me than with the others. I like this goofy side of Peter, so I continue jogging so I can spend more time with him.

After another hour of running, I collapse on a bench under a tree. My lungs burn and my legs feel dead. Peter is also breathing heavily, and I can't look away from his shirt and the muscles tightening and relaxing underneath. I take a drink of my water and try to relax to prevent it getting stuck. Peter runs a hand through his hair and licks his lips. Could he please stop with that?

"So what now?" I ask after a few minutes of catching my breath. He shrugs.
"Well do you really feel like death?" I nod and he sighs.
"Mr. Starks gonna be mad at me if I let you stop." He murmurs and I stand up.
"Hey insect you aren't in charge of me. I'll leave by myself I don't care if you come or not." I take my water bottle and start to walk away. I hear him running to catch up with me and when I look he's running backwards.
"Ok. We can go now but you have to race me back to the tower." I laugh and he smiles, proud that he cheered me up. I throw away my water bottle and use the last fumes of energy I have to race him to the tower.
"It's on Parker."
