Y/n's POV:
As far as boyfriends go, Peter Parker is the best one anyone could ask for.
if Peter and I weren't already close, we now became inseparable. Literally. Like he was always looking for excuses to touch me, even if it was simply walking close enough to me so our hands would brush against each other. If we were in biology together, he would adjust the way he would hold a lab instrument so we would be touching. And simple things, like kissing my knuckle when he grabbed my hand or tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
In public, he would sneak sweet, chaste kisses on my cheek or forehead. But as soon as we were alone together, he would kiss me all-consumingly, as if I was the only other person in the world.
He never questioned why I did things, like hiding our relationship in front of the Avengers. Most of the time I am right about things, so he doesn't question my judgement. He's always such a gentleman, like holding doors open for me and never letting me carry anything, even though I try to stop him from doing everything for me.
Peter knows that I need space sometimes. Teenage dating is hard enough already, but if you practically live in the same house as them, it's just another obstacle to face. So, he usually stays with his aunt, unless he wants to see me or Tony needs him.
He's always protective, worrying about my safety day and night. Even though I have the same advantages as him, he'll follow me home from his house at night in his Spider-Man suit. He thinks I don't see him, but I do.
As far as school is going, Winter break is in a few days. Actual school is so much easier than being taught by genius Avengers. I ended the semester with all A's except for science, which I will never be good at. Still, I have good enough grades that I'm exempt for a few days before break starts. It is no surprise Peter is exempt too. Because I'm going to my moms house for the first week of break, we want to be together for a few days before I have to leave.
A/n: Hey so Y/n does celebrate Christmas in this book. I know that not everyone celebrates this holiday but because a majority of people do celebrate Christmas, I'm writing it in the book. I usually try to make Y/n as customizable as possible, so I apologize if this offends anyone and uh on with the show
I wake up late on the first day of exemption. I open up my blinds and sigh. Finally, some time to relax with Peter. We both are busy with the Avengers most of the time, so we don't have a lot of time to ourselves. Hopefully, we will be able to do normal couple things as if we're just normal teenagers.
But all of those hopes are diminished when Tony comes into my room and tells me we're having a meeting that I need to attend. I groan and get ready quickly. I've never actually been on a mission before. I mean, I have to watch them from these cameras Tony put in everyone's suits, and I have to write notes about what they do. But other that, I haven't been trusted enough to actually go on one. Stark tells me I need more time, but I feel like I'm ready to fight.
That's why I'm pretty optimistic when I walk into the meeting room and everyone's there. I sit next to Peter and he wearily smiles at me. He looks like he just woke up too.
"What do you think this is about?" I whisper to him. He shrugs and yawns.
"I don't know. Maybe you'll be able to go on a mission with me." He says.
"How are you so sure you're gonna get picked?" I ask him and he smirks cockily at me.
"Because I'm the favorite." He whispers into my ear. I roll my eyes as Tony begins.
He tells us about a mission in California that doesn't seem too hard. He needs a few of us to go inspect a man who is confirmed to be creating a way-powerful weapon. Or at least that's what I understood as I was being distracted by Peter absentmindedly tracing circles on my thigh.
