Here's her fit today bc I literally love Y/n's style so much

The first week of school is almost over. I can blend into the crowd well and I've found a few close friends. A few people have asked me if I'm dating Peter, and I just shrug it off. I don't really want to label what we have, because frankly, I'm too scared to ask. I don't want to mess this up or take it too far. Above all, I don't want to have him come too close and for me to hurt him or vice versa.

Also, I still haven't told him what Tony said about us being together. I mean, it's all been happening so fast that I haven't had enough time to slow down and really talk about what we're doing. At first, it was reckless and fun but now, I don't know how long this uncertainty will last. I try to remember to stop overthinking about this because this is just a teenage relationship. But then again, we're Avengers still taking Algebra so I don't know what's normal anymore.

Besides, we don't do a lot of couple stuff. We'll study and hang out together at the tower. Granted, both of us are busy with the Avengers so we don't have a lot of alone time together. But we don't cuddle and make out like that. I mean, we haven't even been on our first date.

But I shouldn't complain. The last "boyfriend" I had was a complete dick. He left me at my dads funeral because I was too much of a mess for him. It was two months ago, but it still hurts. Everything with Peter is new, and it scares me. Besides, do I even want to take it this far after all that has happened?

Speaking of him, I've noticed that Peter is much more relaxed at the tower and at his house than at school. He isn't good at keeping secrets so he becomes more tense. I can sense how he feels because of my powers, so as soon as he sees me, I can feel him relax. I assume he can feel the same for me too, but we're still awkward teenagers so we don't confront each other about it.

A/n: ok I'm about to introduce a new character because there really isn't a whole lotta female characters portrayed in the Spider-Man movies. I do own this character sooo yeah :)

I'm so lost in my thoughts that I don't hear a girl next to me call my name.
"Sorry what?" I whisper. This is my theatre class but no one is really paying attention to what's going on. The girl has long dark hair and green eyes, but the first thing I notice about her is her amazing fashion sense.

"You're friends with M.J. right?" She asks me and I nod. She smiles and holds out her hand.
"Hi. I'm Joanna. My friends call me Jo or they would if I had any friends." I laugh and shake her hand.
"Im Y/n. I can be your friend Jo." Jo grins and pulls out a large container of animal crackers out of her green backpack. She offers me some and I take it gladly. We end up talking the whole hour about everything. Jo is a lot more popular than me and she knows everyone. She asks me if I'm dating Peter, and I decide to tell her my conflict of wanting more, minus the part of us being Avengers. I'm hesitant of trusting her, but I need someone to talk to that just sees me as an average kid.
