Y/n's POV:

The final bell rings and I rush out of the classroom. Peter comes out across the hall from me and I immediately relax a little. He walks up to me and takes my hand. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

My whole day was not great. It was nerve wracking and I almost lost control several times. The first time was when I got my school schedule stuck to my hand and I had to hide it from the principal.
"Oh and another time when I was at my locker this weird kid named Flash came up to me. I kid you not he must've somehow been related to Kail because-"
"Wait wait hold on. Did he hurt you?" Peter interrupts me while I'm telling him about my day. We just got off at the bus stop and he stops me on the sidewalk. He seems nervous and worried.
"No he was just being a douche. He said I looked cute and he wanted to take me out. I said no and to piss off. He was all butt hurt and said he didn't like my shoes. it was just stupid stuff Peter don't worry." He looks away and clenches his jaw.

"Y/n I'm sorry he's just a-" he starts to murmur. I've never seen him this worked up. I put my hand on the side of his face so he can look into my eyes.
"Hey it's okay Parker. I've dealt with people like him before it's fine. I'll be okay." He shakes his head and looks down. He takes my other hand and traces the lines on my palm.
"Its just, Flash sucks and he always pushes me around and I don't want that to happen to you." I nudge his head up and kiss him. He's such a sweet person. His hands wrap around my waist and I wrap mine around his neck.

"It won't. I mean, you've seen what I've done to people like him." I tell him. He looks at me worried.
"No don't kill him please Tony would never let you out of the tower." I laugh and cut him short.
"I'm only kidding. Still, I can stand up to him if he gets too much. I'm fine." His hands grip my waist and I get butterflies. He looks down at my Converse and smiles.
"Well I like your shoes." I laugh and we begin to walk more.

I ask him where we're going and he tells me we're going to his house to get a few things before we go to the tower. As we walk and I tell him about my day, I let myself believe that we're just two normal kids. That I didn't kill someone. That my dad didn't die. That neither of us are apart of the Avengers. We're just two friends who are starting to fall for each other despite the numerous boundaries that have been set to pull us apart.

We walk up the stairs to his apartment and he turns around to me.
"My aunt is here. She's been dying to meet you if that's okay." I smile.
"Of course it is." He nods and opens the door for me. On the couch, a young woman is sitting with a laptop in her lap. She has her long brunette hair tied up in a bun and has round glasses on. When she sees me, she stands up and brushes crumbs off of her yellow pants.

"Hi dear how was school?" She asks when Peter gives her a hug.
"Fine May." She pulls him back and looks at his lips. She licks her thumb and wipes his mouth off.
"Sorry you had some lipstick on your mouth. Anyway, are you going to introduce me to this beautiful girl?" Peter turns bright red but recovers quickly. I also blush and smile.
"May this is my um, well this is Y/n." I hold out my hand but she pulls me into a hug. I hug her back because she reminds me of my mom.
"Oh my goodness I've heard so much about you Y/n. Peter keeps going on and on about you it's crazy-"
"May!" Peter stops her. She puts her hands up in surrender.
"I'm just speaking the truth." I laugh and Peter smiles at me nervously.

Peter goes to his room to get some clothes and May takes me to the kitchen. She has tea on the stove and gives me a cup.
"So Y/n. How was your day at school?" I shrugged. Usually when I'm asked something like that by an adult, I'll just say oh it was good or something around those words because I don't want to worry them.
"To be honest, it sucked." May laughs and takes a sip of her tea. "It was hectic and I was stressed out. But it was better than being homeschooled by Tony Stark." I roll my eyes and smile. She listens to me rant about myself until Peter comes out of his room. I smile reassuringly at him and he smiles back.

We talk to May for a little while longer and then Tony texts me wondering where I am. I show Peter and he tells may that we have to go. She hugs me again.
"Well I hope to see you again Y/n."
"I hope to see you too May." She smiles at me and gives a tight hug to Peter. She whispers an i love you to him and he says it back.
"Now don't let go of this girl Pete."
"I'm not planning on it." Peter answers. He looks at me adoringly and I just melt.

The simple look he gives me makes me realize how much I'm simping for him. A boy has never looked at me like that before. He looks at me as if I'm the only one in the world.

God I'm such a simp.
