Y/n's POV:

My god what have I done. The kiss was entirely out of impulse. My dumbass couldn't think of any other way to show my gratitude to Peter. So why did I like it so much?

I swing my legs out of bed and run my fingers through my hair. I've never been in a good relationship before this. I mean, I had a slight fling with Kail but that was before he turned into a douche.

I get out of bed and see that Peters door is opened. For some reason I don't want to see him so I quickly walk to the kitchen to get breakfast.

I grab two Eggos out of the freezer and put them in the toaster. Mornings are always hectic in the tower. Thor and Bruce are arguing over some physics theory. Bucky sits at the end of the island, drinking black coffee, while Steve sits next to him reading a newspaper. Wanda and Vision are still asleep but Sam makes his way around the kitchen, grabbing ingredients to make an omelette. So when Peter walks in, wearing the same grey shirt as last night, he doesn't even see me. I grab the syrup and my Eggos and take the long way back to my room.

Don't ask me why I'm avoiding him. I mean, I should be all over him, right? The kiss was amazing but I'm worried that with that kiss, I've taken it one step farther than it needs to be. Peter is the first person I've allowed myself to grow close to since my dad died. I don't want to lose him.

After I eat breakfast I hide out in my room until I know Peter has left for school. I also have school today but I've convinced Tony to let me start later so I can sleep in. I try to nap but I can't. I hear a knock on my door and rush to get it. I have a strange sinking feeling when it isn't Peter, but it's Tony at my door. He comes in without me inviting him in and he leans against my desk.
"Come in I guess."
"Y/n I assume you know that Peter wants you to go to school with him." My cheeks flush and I nod.

"Well, I think it would be good for you to learn how to control yourself better out in a public setting. You rarely leave the tower and we will never know if you are becoming stronger unless you get out there." Hes right of course. I hate leaving the tower because I'm much more comfortable in my room than outside.
"So you're saying I can start going to school with him?" He nods and sighs.
"Yes why not. But if you kill anyone, then it's homeschooling until you graduate Frizzle." I squeal and hug him. He stiffens but pats my head.

"Thank you Uncle Stark. I promise I won't even think about killing someone." He laughs and leaves me be. I pull out my phone without a second thought and text Peter, telling him the news. He texts back immediately and says how excited he is to get to see me more often. I blush and throw my phone onto my bed. Stop it. Don't distract him.

For the rest of the day, I do school work with Bruce and Tony. Later on, I change into workout clothes and go outside for a run. I put my headphones in and start running to a nearby park. I run for almost an hour and when I check the time, I realize Peter should be out of school by now.

I hear my name called and I look up. Spider-Man flings himself from a lamp post to the top of a billboard. He props himself up on the board and waves at me. I laugh and wave back. He points toward the tower as if asking me if I'm going to be heading back. I put a thumbs up but instead of him going towards the tower, he makes his way toward me, doing flips in the air and running on the tops of buildings.

He jumps down from a tree in front of me and I smile.
"Why hello Spidey."
"Hello stranger. Do you need a ride back to the tower?"
"What? How would-"
"Just trust me. It's fun." He puts his hand out and I walk toward him. Instead of taking my hand, he grabs my waist and flings both of us up into the air. I scream in surprise and wrap my legs around his torso. I hide my face in his neck and hold on as tight as I can. Peter laughs and grips me tighter.

"Don't worry I won't let you fall." I move my head a little and see how high we are off the ground.
"Aren't you afraid of heights?" I ask him.
"Terrified." I laugh and the wind blows my hair back. It feels exhilarating and I relax a little. Finally the tower appears and he lowers us down to the ground. I get off of him but I'm really shaky when I get back on my feet. I almost fall but he puts his arm around my waist, a feeling becoming more familiar. I get more balanced but his hand still lingers. I think I see someone inside so I move away from Peter. He clears his throat and opens the door for me.

I haven't told him what Tony said about us. I mean, since last night we were just friends so there was no reason to tell him. But now, I just don't want to mess up this weird thing that's happening between us. And I confirm that when I turn to see Peter taking off his mask. His hair sticks up and his cheeks are flushed, but he smiles at me and I smile back, a silent understanding blooming. He knows that Tony would never let us be together, but it doesn't seem to stop him from looking at me like that.

We get in the elevator together. Pure, awkward silence.
"How was school?" I ask, trying to put some sort of conversation between us.
"It was good. I got detention today though." I turn to the golden boy and furrow my brows.
"How?" He smiles a little and comes closer to me. Something about him being in the suit makes me want to kiss him more.

"I got in trouble for texting in class." Peter moves closer and takes one of my hands. He looks at my chipped nail polish and fiddles with my fingers. Realization sets in.
"Oh god it was because of me. I'm so sorry." He shrugs and smiles reassuringly.
"Yeah well, it was worth it." He is inches from my face now and stares at my lips. He puts my hand on his chest and is about to kiss me when the elevator opens. Because Peter and I both have enhanced reflexes, we pull away from each other like repelling magnets. Drax walks in and looks at us weirdly.

"Children." He acknowledges us and opens his bag of chips. I nod at him and Peter does the same. I glance over at Peter and he is blushing red. I snort and Drax looks at me confused. We stop and he gets off at his floor. As soon as the elevator closes, I burst out laughing. Peter shakes his head.

"That isn't funny." He almost seems defeated. I try to cover my mouth but I laugh harder. Peter cracks a smile and turns to me.
"You wanted to kiss me as bad as I wanted to kiss you. So shut your mouth." He's still smiling but I raise my eyebrows in challenge.
"Make me." Is the last thing I say before his lips are on mine once again. I feel his arm go behind him and I look. He has covered the camera with the web fluid so Tony can't see us. I laugh some more and he stops me as he kisses me again. His hands are more confident and he moves one down to my waist, pulling me closer than before. I pull away and rest my head against his.

"God you're such a good friend Spider Boy." He laughs but there's a ring of uncertainty in it. I kiss him lightly on his nose and the elevator door opens. I start to walk out but he's still in the elevator.
"I have to talk to Tony about my suit." He presses a button in the elevator.
"Ok cool. Mariokart tonight?" I ask. I've always been competitive in Mariokart, so when I met Peter and heard he also liked it, we've been playing it ever since. He nods and waves before the door closes.

And that's how it goes for the next week. Not much changed between us except for the make out sessions. School work gets harder for me and he helps me between the sessions. Peter is busy with school and I'm stuck here. Even when we get to actually hang out alone it has to be in secret. I knew from the start this was going to be messy, but if Peters okay with it, then I'm fine with it too.

Right?
