TW for like literally everything lol

Y/n's POV:

Peter senses him too. He turns and grips my hand.
"We gotta go." I let go of his hand and begin to rush toward the steps.
"Wait Y/n shouldn't we get the others?" My brain is going one hundred miles per hour.
"I don't know just ugh I gotta fix this!" I run up the steps and throw off my shoes, leaving them abandoned at the top of the staircase.

Peter chases after me and we go into a room down the hall. We realize at the same time that we need to change.
"I won't look I swear." He says hushed.
I blush and turn my back to him, pulling my dress off as quick as I can. I press a button on the webslinger and in a blink I have my suit on.

There's a window with a thin layer of glass. Peter is telling Tony what's happening as I break the glass, shards of it falling to the ground. I hesitate and turn back to him.
"You ready?" He asks.
"Let's get this son of a bitch."

We swing to the edge of the roof and peek at what's happening. Austin isn't alone. There's about a hundred men with him.
"What are we gonna do?" I ask worriedly. I've never really done this on my own.
"Tony will be here in two minutes. We just need to make sure they don't hurt the people in there." I nod and without a second thought jump up to the men.

"Did you guys miss me this much?" It's hard for me to control the heat of rage that is rushing through me. I can't take them all at once. But I can sure as hell try.

I begin to fight and dodge bullets as Peter runs inside to get everyone to safety. They took Peter from me. They were the reason we had to end like this. They've been watching me for months, and now it's time for them to end.

The others arrive soon after and take the men down one by one. A strange thing occurs to me. The people are different, enhanced. They seem like super soldiers, as if they were experimented on just like Bucky.

After what seems like hours of fighting Peter joins me and we take them down together. One man kicks me but I dodge it. Peter isn't looking. The other man comes between us and electrocutes my suit. I stumble to the edge by the impact. The webslingers are malfunctioning and it feels like I've been hit by a freight train. The last thing I see before falling is Peter being held down by a soldier.

The fall feels like it's in slow motion. There's no time for me to scream. I want to feel the dark bliss that sleep brings me. I want to close my eyes and not feel like this anymore. I want it all to stop right here.

"Y/n!" I hear Peter yell, the utter pain in his voice snapping me back to reality. Right before I hit the ground, I press the emergency button on my suit and a parachute is released from my back. I watch as Peter swings to the ground as I slowly float down to the snow covered garden. As I land my knees buckle and Peter runs to me. He pulls off his mask and I pull off mine, taking in the cold air. He helps me to my feet and wraps his arms around me so I don't fall. The feeling is wearing off as he pulls me in. Is he crying?

"Peter?" I move back and he has tears falling down his cheeks. I wipe them off and smile softly. "Your tears are gonna freeze out here."
He doesn't smile. He seems so guilty for what?
"I'm so sorry. I should've been able to save you. I thought you were... I'm sorry Y/n." I put my hands on the sides of his face. And in that moment, I know the video isn't fake. I know that he is all I've ever wanted love to be.

"Y/n you alright?" Tony asks in comms.
"I'm fine. Just slipped." I answer before taking out the earpiece. I don't want the team to hear this.

"You aren't going to lose me okay? It isn't your fault. You know why you aren't going to lose me? Because I'm a stubborn bitch and I love you. And I'm not going to leave ever again."

The words followed by his lips on mine is too much for my electrocuted heart. Before this, he was always hesitant on how he kissed, always making sure I was okay with it. There is no hesitation in how close he holds me, how tight he grabs my body. After how close we've been to losing each other entirely, the second thoughts are replaced by assurance and need.  God I've missed this. I've missed him. But even now, all of those weeks were worth it to be with him like this again.

He pulls away and puts his forehead against mine.
"I love you so much." He whispers. A weight has been lifted and sheer joy replaces it. I never want to be away from him ever again.

The team lands around us and we back away from each other, our hands still interlocked.
"Did we win?" I ask and Nat smiles.
"We won." The others start heading back to the jet and to check on the people that were at the dance. I follow but then stop.
"Hey I'm gonna go get my dress from inside." I tell Nat.
"You know Tony can just buy you a new one."
"Yeah I know but it was really expensive. I'll be right back." I jog back to the garden and grab my mask. Despite the cold, I feel warm inside.

We can go home and be a family again. I don't have to worry about people stalking me or protective parents anymore. I have Peter, and he loves me. I can go back to school with MJ and Avery and not have to worry about this shit anymore.

I walk into the event center and hear a man groaning in pain. Did someone get hurt trying to get out of here? I pull on my mask.
"Is someone in here?" I shout, squinting my eyes from the strobe light flashing around the room. I see two silhouettes flash against the wall. Someone is standing above the man, who is on the ground. The man raises his knife and before I can stop him, he stabs him. His groaning stops.

I run to the man and tackle him to the ground. Turning back to the body, I know exactly who it is. Austin. I look at the man on the ground, but his features are covered by a black mask. He stands up and I get ready to fight, but he doesn't seem like he wants to hurt me.
"Who are you?" I ask, my voice shaking. His hands moves to his mask and he slowly pulls it off. My jaw drops and so does my heart. It can't be.

"Dad?"

"Hello my dear. My how you've grown."
