Y/n's POV:
Tw of blood and honestly like just fighting shit so if you're sensitive to that then just a forewarning <33

After having a restless night I wake up late and pack my stuff. I clean my room and take my bags out to the door. Even if I did miss my mom, I'm ready to be back at the tower.

Speaking of my mom, she had to leave early to work, so I'm completely alone. I'm glad I am though. I clean the house and do the laundry, as an I'm sorry for arguing with her last night. Like Tony said, it's better if she stays out of this.

Around noon I decide to go out and get lunch by myself. I go to a sandwich shop similar to the one that Peter and I go to, and I become more lonesome. Usually when we're apart, we're able to text or call each other, but I can't this time.

During lunch I email Peter and do some extra credit work on my laptop. Once I'm done, I walk around my town one last time before I have to leave.

When I get home I expect my mom to be there too, but she's still at work. I shrug off my jacket and I feel a bit of pain in my arm. The pain grows and then spreads to my whole body.
I suddenly hear a sound from my room and see a jacket on the ground.

The same jacket Doug wore when I met him.

Then the pain and the jacket connect and I realize; He's here.

I grab my webslingers out of my bag and put them on quickly. Trying to be quiet, I tiptoe to my room and peek inside. As I thought, Doug is crouched down at my dresser, and my clothes are flung around the room. I decide to play dumb and have some fun with this.

"Hey man what are you doing in my room?" I hide my arms behind my back and look at him dumbfounded. He jumps up and looks at me with wide eyes.
"Oh hello there Y/n. I was just looking for something. I'll get out." He begins to walk toward the door and I put my arm across the door frame, stopping him.

He looks at the bandage on my arm and looks back at me.
"What happened to your arm kid?" He asks and I look sad at him.
"Well some dumbass prick shot at me the other night." I tell him, never breaking eye contact. His eyebrows furrow and I can see his mask of calm falter. I narrow my eyes at him and jut my chin forward.

"There are a lotta bad people on the streets hon. You should stop using that language or else you'll become one." He says and I glare at him.
"You would know wouldn't you?" I say low as I tilt my head to the side. He shakes his head and moves my arm out of the way. He's stronger than I thought.

He goes to his jacket and puts it back on. My eyes never leave him, watching every movement he does. A folded paper falls out of his jacket and unfolds on the ground. The paper is the picture on the side of my bed. The picture of my dad, my mom, and me.

What the hell does he have it for?

He nods and begins to walk toward the door. I shoot the knob with my web so he can't get out. He turns and looks at me with a confirmed expression.

"I knew it. I knew that dick Stark would hook you up with some pricey superhero shit." He says and pulls out a knife from his pocket. Except, it isn't a normal pocket knife, it's long and looks like it has electricity running through it.

"I wouldn't use that language or you might end up being that bad person on the street, hon." I repeat him from earlier. He swipes the knife in the air and I dodge it. He tries to punch me and I grab his wrist, webbing it to the wall.
