Chap-50

Olivia's POV

"Ok, Liv, Ocean, and River... Do Not open your eyes at all cost..." Owen said as he walked us somewhere.

"Owen, we are blindfolded...." I shook my head at him, a small smile playing on my lips... Suddenly I felt him dropping his hands from my shoulder. I held onto the twins' hands tightly as we waited...

"I hope you can remove your blindfold by yourself," I heard him whisper...

I quickly took off mine and the twins' and when I finally glanced at the place where we were standing, I gasped.

Owen was standing on his right knee holding 2 puppies... I'm going to faint. 

"Yea... this sorta happened," Owen said rubbing the back of his neck before going back to the position before turning to the twins.

"Ocean... River... I wanted to do this right, so... As you may know, I might not be your birth father," he cringed at his own words before continuing, "but, the moment I saw you guys, I knew I had to be there for you, after hearing something from some people, I knew that you guys meant more than just some kids I adored, though your mother did have a small influence in this... I remember always wanting to be by your side and try to be that father or 'someone you could go to or look up to figure' Ocean, you are the most adorable princess I could ever ask for, I enjoy the little tea parties and the dress-ups we have or the little drives the both of us go, when Olivia and River are busy, you are the best daughter and just know that I love you, a lot... Now... River, I have to say, I'm more nervous about you Lil guy, like I said to Ocean, you will be the most adorable Lil superhero I could ask for, I love the fights we both have and the time outs we both get after that, and I know that you feel like it is your job to protect your sister and mother, and I totally respect that, but I was hoping that you would let me join your protection squad and let me protect them with you" he said before extending the two puppies towards them, "here I'm giving you my bribe... and asking your permission if both of you will let me be your dad and your mommy's husband," Owen asked before Ocean squealed at took the puppy from his hands and then hugging him tightly, "Yes Dadda!!!!" 

Owen smiled happily hugging her back with one hand before looking at RIver, I took a deep breath, River looked at me before turning away from the both of us, wiping his tears before turning to Owen.

He walked towards him, took the puppy, "Yes-" he got cut off by Owen who pulled him into a hug, River wrapped his free arms around Owen's neck, "Dad" I smiled at Owen, and hid my chuckle as I watched the gown ass man cry, well... can't blame him... I'm almost teary-eyed as well, I'm happy for my babies. 

As soon as they broke out of the hug, Owen removed two boxes from the collar of the puppies, (A/N: no puppies were hurt due to the boxes that were tied to their collar) he opened the first one, it was a charm bracelet, he tied it on Ocean's hand before opening the next box, it was the same bracelet. it was a silver bracelet with four figures on it...  At both ends were A mother and a Father and in the middle, a small boy and a girl, and underneath each figure, our names were written respectively. 

Owen then turned to me, standing on his knees again, I smiled at him, I will faint now... Somebody hold me up!!!

"Olivia, I-" he took a deep breath" phew... this is why I should've written down the damn thoughts I had!!!" he muttered under his breath, I giggled like a teenage girl before kissing his lips, yes he did kiss back before pulling away from me, "Let me do it properly m'lady," I smiled at him.

"Olivia, as cheesy as this sounds, I remember my heart skipping a beat when I first saw you, I thought it was just my hormones playing with me to get me laid- wait... you didn't need to know that... anyway, I remember looking for a purpose back then before I met you, and somehow, the more time I spend with you, the more I came to believe that you were it for me, I don't know what the reason is, whether it may be the sparkle in your eyes whenever you watch the twins play or the look of pure calmness when you move your body to the music or the way my heart simply skips a beat when I'm around you, my world doesn't stop when I see you, but you make me see the meaning of it, you make my world more lively and colorful, and I would love to stay in that world with you, I would love to be the man you could lean onto whenever things get tough, and I would love to walk towards the future, holding your hand. So... Olivia Queen, will you marry me and make me the happiest man in our world?" I nodded my head before hugging him, "Yes," I cried out. He hugged me back and soon enough four arms were wrapped around us. I smiled. 

"Group HUG!!!" I heard an awfully familiar voice scream out before more arms wrapped around us, making us fall into a pile.

I looked around to see the boys and Old Lani.

Hi... yea... so.. Sorry for the late update.. As you can see.. I'm not a pro in writing proposal scenes (or any scenes... but shh) I tried not to make it cringer.. but what to do... I was soo close to skipping the proposal part and just start the chap with... 'Yea.. Owen proposed to Olivia' hehe.. Anywho... If in the future.. I get better proposal speech Imma... edit it.. but for now... we can go with this.. (I need to finish this story before my exams... I've been stretching this for too long)
