Owen's POV

I looked at the clock and sighed, flipping the pancake.

"Daddy where is mommy?!" Ocean asked and I sighed sadly.

"Dont know baby, she left in the middle of the night," I looked at the purple hyacinths I bought in the morning, when I woke up I didn't see Olivia, I thought she went for a run because my future wife has a behavior where she wakes up in UnGodly hours and goes for a run on random days.

"When will Mommy come back?" River asked.

"I don't know," I pouted, keeping her favorite chocolates in the fridge.

"Why did you and mommy fight?" I looked at River who gave me the "I know what's happening in this house" look.

"How did you know?!" I asked him, cause the kids weren't there when we had our fight.

"The flowers, purple hy-hyacinh" River struggled with the pronunciation, "people give it to people when saying sorry," he said, I looked at the young genius, shocked.

"How did you know that?!"

"Mommy ones got a book about flowers and read it for us, I tried reading by myself, but, letters are hard," I almost cooed at the small pout forming on his face but stopped myself when I heard the door opening and closing.

Olivia walked into the kitchen giving me a glare and giving forehead kisses to the twins before walking to the refrigerator and drinking the milk.

I took the hyacinths and tapped her shoulders making her look at me.

"I am really sorry," I said, giving the flowers to her before moving her aside and taking the chocolates and giving them to her, her poker face broke down and she smiled and leaned in to give me a peck. I smiled.

We looked at the twins who were giggling and smiling at us.

"So... where were you?" I asked.

"OOh yeah, Old Lani, me, Alexa, and Sam had a girls' time, yes, in the middle of the night, we went out, had icecream, chilled at Sam's, ordered Pizza, slept there, then I woke up at 5:00 am, went for a run, bought coffee and now I'm back to send my babies to school," she said ruffling Ocean's hair who screamed.

I hissed before staring at her, surprised.

"You are letting them go to school?" I asked. The kids looking at her expectantly.

She smiled, "yes, how much longer should I take away my babies' livelihood because of an idiot who can't harm any of us," she shrugged before turning to the twins.

"Ok guys, hurry up if you don't want to be late for school," as soon as she said that the kids squealed before inhaling their food.

I smiled looking at my wife who looks peaceful compared to the last few months, I wonder what happened.

We sat on our couch watching the news (which Livi oddly wanted to watch) sipping on our hot chocolate.

"What are you thinking?" she asked me.

I looked at her, "Dad might probably kick me out of the company now, I need to find something to do, we have a board meeting day after tomorrow," I said.

"Wel-" she was cut off by the tv.

"Taylor Alder, the son of the biggest business tycoon, Mathew Alder, is confirmed dead,"
