CHAP 52

Olivia's POV

The past few days have been hectic, gone is my nervousness about my wedding, but my fear came back. He will come back for us...  He will hurt my children and Owen, and my friends too. I- I cannot let that happen...

I signed up the kids for the self-defense class and decided to not let them go to school for a while and I did same, I closed my dance school for a while and resigned from being a teacher since it was for extra money, but now that, Owen and I are getting married, we decided to split the expenses equally and, apparently the money I make from my dance school is enough I guess... (trust me, this penthouse ain't soo cheap, even though it is Old Lani's I can't just be a freeloader)

The kids and I are inside the house, every single day, I don't let us step a foot outside the door and the doors are locked, the only time the kids go out is for self-defense class that is just a floor below our building.

My nightmares became frequent and I can't seem to shake off the feeling that something will happen if I close my eyes.

"That's it, Missy!!! We are going out," Alexa said snatching my hot cup of coffee. 

"No we arent, Alexa... he's out there, and it's not safe, I can't be stupid and lose the rest of the people I love," I shook my head going forward to snath the cup from her but she moved back.

"No!! You will not submit to fear!! This just shows that he won!! If Raphael was here he wouldn't want you to cower away!! I need you to be strong for all of us, and the kids should start going to kindergarten again, how long are you going to sacrifice their happiness and education because of your fear, stop waiting for him to strike for you to run away in fear again and fight him," Alexa said before grabbing my hand and pushing me to my room, then taking a dress from my closet and throwing it at me, "get dressed, we are going to eat out," 

I looked at the dress for a while before shaking my head, she's right, I have to do this. 

I quickly wore the dress and plated my hair before going down to see the kids already dressed along with Lexi, "That's my girl!!!" she said before pulling us out of the house.

Since it was near our home, we walked there and the whole way, I tightly held on to the twins' hands and constantly kept looking behind me, I cant help it... I almost lost my babies ones I won't let it happen twice.

After ordering we sat down in a corner waiting for our meals as we talked.

"You'll be fine hun, we won't let that man come near you," Alexa said putting her hand on top of mine and I nodded.

"I think our order's up next, lemme me go collect it," she said as she walked away with River who decided to go with her.

"Umm Excuse me?" I turned around to look at the person who called me, only to freeze in my spot. I quickly grabbed Ocean's hand tightly, since she was sitting next to me, i-it cant be.

"Ahh hey, Olivia!! It's really you!! How've you been?" the man asked me as he smiled at me sweetly.

"F-fine," I stuttered out, squeezing Ocean's hand.

 "ooh is that your daughter?" his eyes moved to Ocean and I tried my best to block her from his view.

"Leave us a-alone Taylor," I said, my voice coming out as a plea rather than a demand I wanted to give.

"Why?!? Weren't we friends? Is this how you treat your friend after not seeing him for years? I missed you," he said brushing a strand of my face, making me flinch.

"HEY, YOU MAN!!! YOU ARE MAKING MY MOMMY UNCOM-UNCOMFORBLE, LEAVE HER ALONE!!" I looked behind him to see River standing there holding Alexa's hand. If it was some other time, I would've laughed at his attempt to say uncomfortable. But it's not...

"Mommy?" Taylor looked at me before smirking, "Ahh twins eh?" I said nothing.

"If you don't leave us alone, we will make a huge scene here dude and you will be forced to get out," Alexa said before pushing River behind her.

Taylor shook his head amused before giving me a wink and walking out.

"Mommy. please try to breathe normally please...." Ocean said putting a hand on my chest making me realize my uneven breathing.

"River call your father," Alexa said before setting the food on top and hugging me.

"Hey... it's alright, take deep breaths with me yea?" Alexa said soothing my hair down.

H-he was here... he saw the kids... no... this can't be happening now.

"What happened? I was nearby when River called me and I rushed here," I heard Owen's voice.

"W-we don't know what happened, some man came and started making her feel uncomfortable, I think it's him," Alexa said before giving me to Owen and I quickly clutched onto him, breathing in his scent trying to calm myself.

"He saw the kids, both of them and Alexa, w-we need to leave before he hurts us," I frantically spoke looking at Owen.

"shh... we will honey, first calm down for me," I nodded, staying in his embrace. as he picked me up and walked out of the cafe with the kids following us.

He asked Alexa to drive after he strapped the kids in their car seats and sitting in the back with me still in his lap.

Exhaustion took over me as I slowly closed my eyes, hoping that once I wake up, this nightmare will be over.
