Olivia's POV
I woke up when I heard my phone ring. But by the time I took my phone out of my bra, it went off. Great. My phone is dead.
I looked beside me to see my kids sleeping peacefully. A small smile graced my lips as I stood up from the bed. But I stepped on something hard, and the ground groaned.
God, now my head is aching. I looked down to see Jacob asleep. I then looked around to see all the boys asleep on the ground with blankets. Aww.
"Good morning, Old Lani," I greeted as I entered the kitchen, holding my head. Stupid headache.
"Good Morning, Olivia. How was the party?" she asked as she handed me an Advil and a glass of water.
I mumbled thanks as I swallowed it.
"It was good. I got drunk, then I danced, and then a guy came and hit on me, and I punched him. He passed out. I gave him 1$ for his hospital fee, then tried to rob an ice-cream shop, got kicked out because thankfully the kid knew me. So yeah, it was eventful," I shrugged as she sat in front of me. I looked at the old woman in front of me. She is the reason why I'm alive, along with my kids.
After I got kicked out I didn't have anywhere to go. My brother tried to help me, but I rejected it fearing that it was one of my parents' plans. My brother was like their puppet, he did whatever they wanted.
Anyway, with only a few balances in my account, I stayed in the hotel and went to look for a job. And I got one, in Old Lani's bakery. I worked there as a waitress and told Old Lani about my problems. She helped me through it.
But one day when I was walking home from work I met him. The man who was the reason for my misery. He said he wanted to be with me and all, and the funny thing was that he was my best friend in middle school, but at the start of high school he was being a lot more possessive and touchy, something a best friend is not supposed to do. He started acting weird, so I started being distant from him.
Yeah, so that guy came back and stabbed my 7-month-old pregnant self.
So after giving birth to my kids, Old Lani thought that it was no longer safe for me and my kids because the police still haven't caught him. She made me stay in the building that she owned, letting me stay in the penthouse. But when I told her that I couldn't afford it, she told me to pay half and do the thing I always wanted to do, dance. My happiness is the other half price apparently.
I still go and help her in her bakery when I'm free. I mean, she is the reason why I'm still standing alive at the moment.
"Hey guys!" Harry said as he entered the kitchen. Even the boys know my story.
They, along with Old Lani, are the ones who helped me set up my dance institute. I met the boys at the mall one day. I bumped into them when I was 6 months pregnant and was alone at that moment carrying thousands of bags. So they decided to help me because pregnant women should not carry heavy things. And they carried all my things throughout my whole baby-shopping ritual. And then I treated them with ice creams, and from then on we just seemed to click. We loved to dance, so we just realized we were meant to be.
Soon all the boys came, along with my rays of sunshine. Old Lani invited us for lunch so we went home and freshened up, and the boys did the same at my house. They have their clothes here because this is where they stay when they get kicked out of their house, or come for a hangout, or when they don't want to face their parents.
I and the boys and my rays of sunshine went to Old Lani's and it was some delicious lasagna. And then, as desserts, it was her famous brownies.
After filling our stomachs we all sat in the living room while the kids played.
