REALITY

Y/N'S POV:

previously: "...y/n will you be my girlfriend?"

my face immediately lights up as i am in complete under shock. i just stand there for a second until i realize i need to give some type of answer... way to go y/n. i finally let out a, "i'd love to," and then a hearty laugh as josh picks me up and spins me around. when he finally stops, i note his face for the first time. i feel a smile spread across my face when i see his shiny whites out. he looked like the happiest guy on the planter earth, and nothing made me happier. to be fully of joy, was an understatement.

JOSH'S POV:

the second she said yes -or words meaning yes- i felt as if there was nothing else in the world. i was relieved that i could finally release the emotions i had been holding in for so long.

i actually couldn't believe it at first. i had to pinch myself to make sure i wasn't dreaming. i couldn't comprehend that i had finally gotten what i had been yearning for so long.

to think that she would like to date a guy like me was unbelievable. nonetheless, i was gonna make my 110% effort to make sure she didn't regret anything.

after siting with each other, astonished that we were finally officially girlfriend and boyfriend, we decided to go back to the pier. the place i had taken y/n to was secluded and i hadn't been here at night, so i didn't want to take any chances of anything bad happening and ruining the night. once we got back to the pier, we decided to just go walk around for a bit before heading back to the hotel. we were walking along the sand as the soothing sound of the waves crashing against the sand at shore was in the background. we were holding hands and i was feeling loving, so i decided to twirl her around making her break out in the most intimate laughter ever.

Y/N'S POV:

little affectionate moments like spinning me around as we walked though the beach, made my heat burst into happiness. he spun me around and then brought me into a kiss.

in the second i knew that i had made the right choice and there was no going back now. i didn't need to anyways. i was more than fulfilled already, so i couldn't wait for the future.

this was us. and i was so for it.
