REALITY

i let out a sigh as we are about to walk in. we go go to the office to get out locker combination number. we wait in line for a bit, but after a couple minutes we get our locker numbers and go into the junior hallway to find our lockers. as we are walking i see olivia and nessa but i don't think they saw me. i think they found their lockers and i couldn't find mine anywhere near there's so i guess that wouldn't be a problem. after looking around for a bit i finally found mine. emma's wasn't that far away abut it wasn't the closest. it was ok though because i could always just go over there or she could come over. i didn't know who were my locker neighbors yet, but i was hoping for good people. last year i had this one guy that never cleaned his locker so it smelt and the other person wasn't here half of the time so i guess they weren't a problem. i was about to go find my first class when one of the people that i had to share locker walls with slammed their door on mine. i flinched for a second until i went to look at who it was. olivia. olivia richards. oh my fuck. why. just why. i swear to god everything hates me. she didn't say anything to me which is a good thing i guess, but i knew that she definitely knew i was there. i wasn't letting it affect me so i just went to my first class. it was gym. i hate it when i get gym first period, but its not like i can control it. i was walking to the gym and when i got in i saw james sitting on the bleachers. i guess we shared a class with the seniors. i made my way, walking to him a sat down next to him but we had some distance. he looked up from him phone and finally saw me.

"hey girl" he says.
"hi, looks like they mixed seniors and juniors" i say.
"yeah, noticed that as soon nessa walked in" he says.
"oh you've git to be kidding me, i swear to god she's like everywhere i go" i say.
"well this is only first period" he says.
"yeah true, oh you'll never guess who's locker is right next to mine" i say.
"who, nessa? i thought she was as senior. we have a separate hallway" he says.
"no, not her. olivia" i say.
"ohh sorry i forgot" he says.
"yeah, although she didn't say anything to me when she saw me" i say.
"was nessa there with her?" he says.
"no" i say.
"oh, i feel like nessa has to do something with their big act" he says.
"i was gonna say that too, have you noticed how she's only rude to me when nessas around" i say.
"weird" he says.
"yeah" i say.

then the gym teacher comes and explained what we'll be doing for the year. luckily we didn't have to do any real gym or running today, being the first day. after that we had to get our gym uniform things. we had to wear this t - shirt with the school's name on it and these weird shorts. not what i would have chosen, but the teachers will probably forget about them half way through the year. the class went by pretty fast and soon enough the bell rang which men it was time to go to second period. we had a total of 7 classes and a period for lunch. also one of our 7 classes are a free period to do homework and meet teachers and stuff. i walked to my second period class which was english surprisingly the teacher was pretty nice. i went to my third and fourth period classes which weren't that hard. soon it was lunch time. i had to stop by locker to get lunch before so i could get the lunch my mom packed and thats when i saw emma, so we walked to the cafeteria together. once we got there we saw james, larray, and dixie sitting at the table that we would always sit at. we made our way over there and took a seat.

"so how was your guys' first classes" dixie says.
"mine were ok" i say while pulling out a salad from my bag.
"yeah, there ok but i still don't like it" emma say.
"no new news" i say at emma's comment.
"yeah, you guys?" emma says to the other three.
"eh there pretty easy to be honest" james says.
"yeah, its like nothing so far" larray says.
"me too" dixie says.
"well i guess thats good" emma says.
"you wanna know something good i guess" i say.
"what's up" dixie says.
"the two bitches haven't talked to me at all yet" i say.
"that's new" dixie says.
"yeah, although my locker is right next to olivia's" i say.
"perfect for hearing gossip" larray says.
"yeah, yeah" i say.

we eat our lunches and talk about random things for a bit. to be honest the day was going great until i heard someone call my name behind me.

"hey y/n"
