REALITY

"hi" vinnie said as her opened the door for me.
"hey" i said with a smile as he got into the drivers seat of the car.
"i missed you" he said as he pressed a light kiss on my lips.
"me too" i said smiling again.

vinnie and i have been dating for almost 2 years now. we've been friends from the second grade for me and third grade for him. as we got older we eventually caught feelings for each other. it was kind of weird at first cause i kind of saw him as an older brother, but that feeling went away over time. we met cause of a rather cute story. i was new to the school and had no friends. one day this girl came up to me while i was playing with chalk on the sidewalk of our school's playground, snatched the chalk away from me, ruined my drawing, and chucked the chalk at my face. then she proceeded to call me unpleasant things and said that i shouldn't be at the school. ouch right? anyways this boy came up to me, saw me crying and felt bad, so he took me to the nurses office and got me to tell the teacher. that boy was vinnie. we've been friends ever since and i couldn't be grateful enough for him. i still don't know what that girl was so rude to me and its been 9 years. not that it concerns me that much but i'd still like to know.

"so hows been the past week or so without me" he says.
"probably horrible cause lets face it, you can't live without me" he adds with a slight smirk on his face before i can even answer.
that leaves a shocked look on my face. "you're so cocky. but it was actually going fine until you got here" i say as a comeback and turn my face to anywhere besides his direction.
"oh baby come on you know i was joking. you're a whole badass on your own" he says.
"mhm" i say as i finally face him.
"ok but actually how was the past week for you. i practically dies of boredom" he says as him full attention is on me.
"pretty boring. neither Emma or any of the others couldn't hang out and my parents were making me bring up all my grades for those summer classes" i say.
"sounds so fun" he says with sarcasm. "speaking of school you know that its my last year of high school and i have to apply for colleges" he adds.
"yeah. god where has time gone. i feel like we were just in elementary school" i say.
"well that's a much better thought than what i think when i hear those words" he says.
"what did you think?" i ask with confusion.
"well i realized that if i go to college and i end up going far, we wont be able to see each other all the time" he say with a bit of sadness.
"oh" i say with a sigh, but it disappears as i try to think positively. "but why do you think so much about the future. we still have this whole school year and next years summer." i say.
"true. ok i need to stop thinking about it so much." he says with a laugh.
"well you like beautiful today" her says as he looks be up and down.
"do i not look beautiful every other day hacker" i say and his face drops. "just kidding. thank you" i say as i kiss him.
"i was gonna say that you look gorgeous everyday" he says as we pull away.
"and i appreciate those comments, but you should've seen the look on your face when i said that" i say as i start laughing.
he rolled his eyes and says, "you are one annoying girl" jokingly.
"i know. i also know that you love it"i say.
"your right, i do" he says and kisses my forehead. "anyways its 7 shall we get going" he adds.
"get driving loverboy" i said as i laid my head on him shoulder.

the drive to the way to the party consisted of some small talk and mostly singing along to the music he played. we both had fairly similar music taste, so it didn't really matter who had aux. times like there were the best memories. they were simple yet so magical. looking back these memories are what i would call golden times. time went by like nothing. the thirty-five minute drive went by fast and soon enough we were at the party and were looking forward to a fun night.

i've been writing on my phone and then today i switched to writing on my ipad but like in the browser and it was the most annoying thing in the world in my opinion 😑
this was kinda a cute chapter :)
